"Heï¿½s very hopeful that Iï¿½ll be part of the team, a big part of the team, for many years to come," Love said. "And I donï¿½t see why he should think otherwise." This is a big remark from Love given his previous comments painted an uncertain future, and as we previously suspected, the firing of David Kahn can only help Minny's chances of keeping Love on the roster. C	1	Nikola Pekovic Sidelined Former Timberwolves GM David Kahn believes Nikola Pekovic is "probably aiming for a double-digit salary" as a restricted free agent during the offseason. It's what we expected to hear, but Pekovic's free agency has the potential to turn into a monster headache for the team. The Wolves aren't good enough as currently constructed, but they can't really afford to lose Pekovic without a suitable replacement. A desperate team will throw Pekovic a multi-year offer at something like $10-12 million per season, a figure that may be difficult for Minnesota to match when looking at all of the holes on the roster. It's rare a team lets a restricted free agent leave, especially someone as critical as Pekovic is to Minnesota. May 3
