Vince Carter scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting (including four threes) with five rebounds, four assists and one block in the Mavs' 103-97 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.
Carter passed Clyde Drexler to become No. 27 on the NBA's all-time scoring list, and he's officially hot so go ahead and pick him up for the finale. Dirk Nowitzki scored 26 points but had just three rebounds in the loss.

Vince Carter scored 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting (including a three) with 12 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two blocks in Friday's overtime win against the Nuggets.
Carter can get hot in a hurry and after a line like this he'll be a hard guy to pass up if he's available on your league's waiver wire. Dirk Nowitzki added 22 points, 10 boards and four assists in the win.

Vince Carter shot 6-of-14 from the field for 17 points with five boards, four assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday.
He's been consistent for his past five, scoring between 14 and 19 in each of those games. Carter has made 1.4 triples and had 1.8 steals in that span, which suggests he deserves to be owned in standard leagues.

Vince Carter was quiet on Friday against the Cavs, scoring seven points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes.
As long as Shawn Marion (calf) is out then owners should be willing to put up with off nights like this, as a big night is usually right around the corner. That said, if he does this again then maybe we'll change our tune.

Sidelined
Roddy Beaubois underwent successful hand surgery on Wednesday and is out for the season.
The odds of Beaubois returning are "extremely slim," so we'll consider him out for the season for all intents and purposes. Beaubois will be a free agent in the offseason, and it's hard to see him returning to the Mavs. Dallas will roll with Mike James and Darren Collison at point guard.
