Manu Ginobili erupted in Game 4 with 21 points, five 3-pointers, four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks, but the Spurs shot 35.5 percent from the field before losing in overtime.
Manu came in shooting just 33.0 percent in the series vs. Golden State, and tonight he missed a would-be game-winner late in regulation, but he was generally the only bright spot for San Antonio. His 37 minutes also marked a new season-high and we'll be watching for signs of fatigue in Game 5.

Manu Ginobili hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds left in double-OT on Monday to beat the Warriors, finishing with 16 points, seven boards, 11 assists, one steal and two 3-pointers on 5-of-20 shooting.
It wasn't his best game, but Manu made a big play to win it. "I went from trading him on the spot to wanting to cook him breakfast tomorrow," Gregg Popovich said about Ginobili. The play from the sideline got the ball to Manu all by himself for a 3-point make and the Warriors were caught sleeping a little. Ginobili played 36 minutes and was very active, so his hamstring injury that has bothered him for much of the second half of the season seemed like a non-issue. The Spurs will look to maintain their home-court advantage on Wednesday in Game 2.

Manu Ginobili confirmed that his hamstring is feeling good after Game 1 on Sunday.
Ginobili called the hamstring "a little tight," but then followed it up with "feeling really good," so the mild tightness can be attributed to the lengthy time off the veteran had. He had 18 points in 19 minutes and was the difference against the Lakers in Game 1. He should be ready to rock again in Game 2 on Wednesday.

Manu Ginobili scored 18 points in just 19 minutes against the Lakers on Sunday with two boards, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 6-of-13 shooting.
He scored eight points in the final 1:25 of the third quarter, which was really a back-breaker for the Lakers. Manu went to the locker room for a brief moment in the second half, but it believed to nothing injury related. Ginobili and the Spurs second unit spells trouble for the Lakers and the Spurs bench outscored the Lakers 40-10.

Tony Parker's calf MRI came and went without a whimper, and Gregg Popovich said Parker is "fine."
"He's fine. It's the playoffs," said Popovich. We didn't expect much more than this given the MRI was precautionary, and it's good news that the injury is progressing as expected. Parker said the contusion is "dissipating well," so it's as we expected.
