Bears coach Matt Nagy is confident Jordan Howard can be an every-down player.
Howard has been an effective ball-carrier throughout his career—he's topped 1,000 yards rushing in each of his two seasons—but he's fared poorly as a receiver with 14 drops including six last season. The 23-year-old has worked hard to address that shortcoming this offseason, working with coaches to improve his technique. "There’s this notion that he is just a first-and second-down back, and I don’t believe that," said Nagy. "Jordan can play all three downs." The biggest threat to Howard's workload will be Tarik Cohen, who logged 53 catches as a rookie last season. Jul 22 - 9:56 AM
