Josh Allen completed 17-of-26 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns while rushing nine times for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Dolphins.
In his rookie season, Allen displayed both the extreme pros and cons that made him such a polarizing prospect last spring. With arguably the largest discrepancy in surrounding talent for any quarterback, Allen struggled with accuracy. His 52.5 percent completion rate was dead last in the league for all passers with over 100 pass attempts. Where Allen particularly struggled was on third downs (43 percent completion rate) and in the red zone (40 percent). Despite those accuracy struggles, Allen still showed off his immense upside through elite athleticism and arm strength. In just 12 games, Allen led the Bills with 631 rushing yards and eight rushing scores. For fantasy purposes, that athleticism can be a trump card over any of the negatives. Allen was first in overall fantasy points for quarterbacks from Weeks 12-17 after returning from a mid-season shoulder injury. With that weekly upside, he stands to be an early QB2 value for Best Ball formats early in the offseason. Sun, Dec 30, 2018 04:10:00 PM
