Giants RG Chris Snee (hip surgery) has resumed working out.
"I can't do everything, but I do enough," Snee said at this week's minicamp. "I'm sweating." Snee has missed just one game since the 2004 season and graded out as a top-13 guard last year despite having limited mobility in his hip.

In other words, he's feeling pretty good coming off his February cleanup operation. Snee is going to take it easy during the Giants' offseason program, but has every expectation of being 100 percent for training camp.

Snee is going to miss the Giants' entire offseason program, but it's not a major concern for a nine-year veteran who's missed one game since 2004. Snee graded out as the No. 13 guard in Pro Football Focus' 2012 ratings.

Giants RG Chris Snee underwent hip surgery this week, as expected.
The operation went "well," but Snee doesn't have a timetable for a return. It could reportedly take Snee 6-8 months to recover, meaning he wouldn't be 100 percent for the beginning of training camp. There are no indications he won't be ready for Week 1. Snee played through the injury in the Pro Bowl, suggesting it shouldn't be a long-term concern.

Giants FB Henry Hynoski has been diagnosed with an injured left MCL and chip fracture to his lateral plateau.
It's actually a positive revelation for Hynoski. When he went down during Wednesday's OTA session, it looked like Hynoski could have blown out his ACL or patella. Instead, he will undergo surgery Friday and has a realistic shot at being back for Week 1. Hynoski graded out as Pro Football Focus' fifth-best fullback in terms of lead blocking last season.

Updating a previous item, Yahoo's Jason Cole now says Hakeem Nicks did
not
skip Wednesday's OTAs as a contractual protest.
This situation could get cleared up quickly if Nicks' camp would just say why he hasn't shown up. Instead, his agent has strongly denied the absence is contract related, but won't offer any more details. Nicks was in New York as of Tuesday night, so perhaps he'll show up this week to explain. He doesn't have much leverage after posting an injury-plagued 53/692/2 line last season.
