The Bears may look to extend CB Charles Tillman's contract this offseason.
Tillman, 32 next month, has one year left on a seven-year contract and will count $8 million against the cap. Chicago could lower that hit by extending Tillman, who is still at the top of his game. Beat writer Brad Biggs says Tillman could then transition to safety down the line. "Peanut" has spent all ten seasons of his career with the Bears, picking off 33 passes.

Bears CB Charles Tillman (ankle) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Seahawks.
The Bears will be without Devin Hester (concussion) and Alshon Jeffery (knee), but they'll have WLB Lance Briggs, RB Matt Forte, and Tillman despite the latter three's inability to finish the game in last week's win over Minnesota. We like Tillman to match up with Sidney Rice for most of this Sunday's affair.

A source tells the Chicago Tribune that Bears CB Charles Tillman has a chipped bone in his foot.
It's not as bad as it sounds. Tillman actually left Sunday's win over the Vikings, was allowed to come back in and then left for good. He was spotted in a walking boot afterward, but hasn't been ruled out for this week's game against the Seahawks.

A source tells ProFootballTalk.com that Bears CB Charles Tillman (ankle) is expected to be "fine."
Tillman appeared to sprain his ankle during Sunday's win over the Bears and was spotted in a walking boot afterward. It's unclear if "fine" means he avoided a fracture or if it means he's battling a Grade 1 sprain. We'll know more after coach Lovie Smith addresses the media.

Brandon Marshall (hip surgery) is not participating in this week's OTAs, as expected.
Marshall underwent a scope in January and is not quite at 100 percent yet. Although it's his third procedure on the troublesome joint, no one around the Bears appears concerned. Marshall has missed just five games in his seven-year career and is coming off a sparkling 118/1508/11 campaign.
