Making his 2014 debut, Wes Welker caught six passes for 60 yards in Sunday's Week 3 overtime loss at Seattle.
The Broncos went into this game wanting Welker to be a role player on passing downs only. But that plan went out the window when they fell behind 17-3 late in the third quarter, and Welker became a favorite target of Peyton Manning. He's still plenty capable of getting open in the slot, meaning he'll be good for 5-7 catches per game going forward. But with his snaps in doubt and Emmanuel Sanders shining, Welker won't get near 2013 levels. He's also a concussion away from an extended absence. Sep 21 - 8:54 PM
