7/29/2011: Signed a five-year, $20 million contract. The deal contains $7 million guaranteed, including a $3 million signing bonus. Lance Moore caught four passes for 121 yards in the Saints' Week 17 loss to the Panthers.
When Drew Brees averages over 300 yards per game, all his receivers are going to put up numbers -- even if they're not elite talents. Playing in 15 games, Moore recorded 65 catches for 1,041 yards and six touchdowns. But before we get carried away, note that this is Moore's first 1,000-yard season and he came into this season managing just 11.4 yards per catch. This year, he ripped off 16.0 yards per grab. Expect a regression in 2013.

Lance Moore caught four passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 against the Cowboys.
Moore has found the end zone in back-to-back weeks and now has six scores on the season. He's shown to be a reliable WR3 in 2012 and needs 80 yards in Week 17 against the Panthers to post his first career 1,000-yard season.

Lance Moore caught four passes for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 15 win over the Bucs.
Moore hauled in all but one of his targets on Sunday afternoon. His score was of the seven-yard variety at the tail end of the first half to put the Saints up by a score of 24-0 heading into the locker room. It was the easiest of easy touchdowns as Moore sat right in the end zone in front of Bucs S Ahmad Black. He'll remain a weekly WR3 as the season winds down. New Orleans travels to Dallas in Week 16.

Lance Moore was held to one catch for 26 yards in New Orleans' Week 14 loss to the Giants.
Moore was targeted just four times in a game where Drew Brees threw the ball 43 times. The one-catch performance was his first of the season. Although Moore can be maddeningly inconsistent, he had posted at least 50 yards in five straight games coming into this afternoon. He'll be a moderate-risk, high-reward WR3 for Week 15.

Saints coach Sean Payton promises the looming contract showdown with Jimmy Graham will have no effect on where Graham lines up in 2013.
Graham, entering a contract year, is going to want to be paid as a receiver whether it's on a long-term deal or franchise tag. He could command upwards of $12 million annually. "We're going to put people in different spots all the time to get them open," said Payton. "Whatever we have to do is not going to be dictated by the interpretation of some rule. We're just going to try to win."
