Seahawks hired ex-Florida defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to replace Gus Bradley in the same position.
That was quick. Quinn coached Seattle's defensive line in Pete Carroll's first year on the job before heading to Florida for the past two seasons, picking up valuable experience in defending spread and pistol offenses. The Seahawks already run Carroll's scheme, so there won't be any major changes under Quinn, who was also mentioned as a candidate to become the defensive coordinator of the Browns, Eagles or Jaguars. Seattle should remain one of fantasy's top defenses in 2013.

According to FOX broadcaster Thom Brennaman, Seahawks DC Gus Bradley will interview for two head-coaching jobs other than the Eagles.
Bradley is regarded in some circles as a favorite to land the Eagles job. Other openings include the Cardinals, Chargers, Bears, and Jaguars. Bradley's defense was gashed by the Falcons in the first half of Sunday's game, but that's hardly a reason to bypass a man considered a "brilliant football mind."

Sources tell 5 News Arkansas that Arkansas Razorbacks officials contacted Pete Carroll about the university's head-coaching vacancy, but were turned down.
Sources also tell 5 News that NFL Network's Steve Mariucci reached out to Arkansas officials. Mooch is a likelier candidate than Carroll, who has a good thing going as one of the NFL's highest paid coaches for one of the league's up-and-coming teams. Carroll is entering his third season in Seattle. He won a playoff game in 2010, and last year won five of his final eight games.

The Seahawks racked up a season-high six sacks in their Week 6 win over the Bears, tallying a safety in the process.
It's no secret that Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler tends to make horrid decisions when under pressure, so applying it will surely be one of Seattle's top priorities today. They weren't able to rattle Drew Brees much last weekend, so it will be interesting to see what they do against Chicago's offensive line, which let Cutler get sacked a league-high 52 times in 2010.

Percy Harvin said Tuesday that he hasn't had a migraine headache in two years.
Harvin is often criticized for an inability to stay healthy, but before his 2012 ankle injury he had missed just three games in three NFL seasons. Since getting diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2010, he's been able to avoid the severe headaches that had plagued him all the way back to his University of Florida days. "Been fully healthy from that aspect so everything's been good," Harvin said. "I'm going to knock on wood that nothing resurfaces but it's been all great."

The Seattle Times doesn't envision the Seahawks cutting TE Zach Miller.
We don't, either. Miller has a mammoth cap number for 2013 as he's due a $6.8 million salary and a $3 million roster bonus, but he was finally starting to come on in the latter stages of the 2012 season, capping it off with an eight-catch, 142-yard, one-score Divisional Round playoff game outburst against the Falcons. He should be in line for a bigger role on offense this coming season.
