Free agent Jerramy Stevens' Thursday night arrest allegedly came as a result of the former Buc attacking two bouncers at a surfer bar.
He reportedly may have broken one of the bouncers' jaws. Stevens' attorney, meanwhile, claims his client was attacked by "several" people and may have suffered broken ribs. Due in court on unrelated drug charges next month, Stevens has been charged with felony battery. We won't see him back in the NFL.

Former Bucs TE Jerramy Stevens was arrested Thursday on a felony battery charge.
It's the latest in a string of arrests for Stevens going back to his college days at Washington a decade ago. The Bucs released him in October following drug charges. Bucs coordinator of pro scouting Shelton Quarles was also arrested early Friday morning on a DUI charge.

Bucs released TE Jerramy Stevens.
This could be the end of the line for Stevens, who was arrested on drug charges Saturday. His off-field problems have been numerous, and his on-field production has been scant even though he's physically gifted.

CBS' Charley Casserly reports that the Bucs will be releasing TE Jerramy Stevens on Monday.
Mike Florio brings up the possibility that Stevens was intending to distribute the cannabis he was arrested with Saturday night to Bucs players at the team hotel. Stevens was caught with enough marijuana that he was slapped with an additional felony. His release wouldn't be a surprise, but Bucs players had better hope he doesn't snitch on them after the move. Stevens' NFL career will be over at that point, so he'd have little to lose.
