Cameron Wake has tied his career-high with 14 sacks this season.
The Dolphins' defense certainly hasn't quit. Wake was a monster against the 49ers Sunday, eating up Anthony Davis to the tune of three sacks, three quarterback hits and a forced fumble. Wake is a good bet to set his career-high in sacks against the Jags in Week 15.

Dolphins LE Cameron Wake has already matched his sack total (8.5) from last year.
The switch to a 4-3 defense has been a smashing success in Miami, with Wake, NT Paul Soliai and DT Randy Starks all excelling up front. Pro Football Focus ranks Wake as the NFL's top pass rusher this season, racking up a combined total of 55 sacks, quarterback hits and hurries. PFF also ranks the Dolphins as the NFL's best defense as well as special teams through nine weeks.

Dolphins LE Cameron Wake set a career high with 4.5 sacks in the team's Week 4 loss to Arizona.
Wake destroyed rookie RT Bobby Massie time and time again, racking up half of the Dolphins' team sacks of Kevin Kolb. Wake went sack-less in the first three games, causing unnecessary worry in IDP circles that his "position switch" from 3-4 outside linebacker to 4-3 defensive end wasn't working out. This was Wake's slump-busting game, and look for him to pick up right back where he left off in Week 5 against the Bengals.

Dolphins RE Cameron Wake drew 13 offensive holding calls last season, the most in all of football by a wide margin.
Nobody else in the league drew more than seven. Despite getting held all season, Wake still picked up 8.5 sacks as one of the game's premier 3-4 outside linebackers. Now operating out of his natural weak-side end spot in the Dolphins' new 4-3, we're expecting a bump in production out of Wake.

Daniel Thomas believes he's a legitimate contender for the Dolphins' starting running back job.
Thomas must not be watching much of his own film. "I don’t know why (Lamar Miller) would have the inside track," Thomas said incredulously Tuesday. "It’s an open competition. Everybody has a fair shot. The best player is going to get the job. Nobody has a leg up." Thomas does admit he's been "inconsistent" since being the No. 62 overall pick of the 2011 draft. All signs suggest the Dolphins want and expect Miller to be their No. 1 back.
