Chargers signed G/C Rich Ohrnberger, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
Ohrnberger started four games, two at center and two at right guard, for the Cardinals last season before ending the year on injured reserve with a knee injury. The 27-year-old has appeared in 18 career games. At 6-foot-2 and 300 pounds, he's a good fit as a backup in the new zone-blocking scheme.

Cardinals placed OL Rich Ohrnberger (knee) on season-ending injured reserve.
Ohrnberger started the last two weeks at center in place of Lyle Sendlein, who is also on injured reserve. Ohrnberger was injured in the first half of yesterday's thumping from Seattle. Scott Wedige came in to replace him at center, but the Cardinals could be on the lookout for a more experienced lineman.

Cardinals signed G/C Rich Ohrnberger.
Ohrnberger takes the place of C Ryan Bartholomew, who was waived/injured on Wednesday. The former Patriot missed all of last season due to a head injury.

Patriots waived G/C Rich Ohrnberger.
A fourth-round pick in the 2009 draft, Ohrnberger has appeared in only five career games without a start. He missed all of 2011 with a head injury, likely a concussion. Orhnberger, 6'2/300, played his college ball at Penn State.

Chargers WR Vincent Brown said his ankle is "100 percent."
Brown fractured his ankle last August. The Chargers are taking it easy on him during OTAs, but Brown expects to be full-go for training camp. Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander are running with the first team, but both Brown and rookie Keenan Allen could jump ahead of Floyd in due time. San Diego was planning to "feature" Brown last season, although there's now a new regime in town.
