Arian Foster wants to "bounce back" from a 2012 season where he averaged just 4.1 yards per carry.
"I just didn’t feel like I was at my best, and it’s gonna change this year," Foster said. "(I’ve) just refocused and rededicated myself to another level, and hopefully it shows." Foster averaged the fewest yards per carry of his career in 2012, but also took the rock more than any other back. Foster has racked up a ton of mileage the past three seasons, but remains a lock for top-five fantasy status.

Updating a previous item, Arian Foster says he has no plans to undergo minor heart surgery.
"I have not nor do I plan, anytime in the near future, to have conversations with my doctors about any surgery. I am feeling well," said Foster. It appears as though somebody jumped the gun on a previous report that said Foster would go under the knife in "about a month" for a "heart ablation" to take care of an irregular heartbeat. Hopefully this is the final post on the topic.

Texans team doctors don't believe Arian Foster needs the minor heart procedure he plans on getting in "about a month."
"Our medical team continues to monitor it. We're comfortable with where he is," said GM Rick Smith. "He missed one-half of practice and one-half of a game. Our doctors treated him. They continue to monitor it." Foster told NFL Network's Alex Flanagan on Thursday that he was expecting to have the procedure to alleviate an irregular heartbeat. It remains to be seen what is going to happen, but it's nothing major.

Arian Foster is expected to undergo a minor heart procedure in "about a month."
Foster is "considering a heart ablation" to help alleviate the problem that forced him to leave the Texans' Week 16 game with an irregular heartbeat. Foster says he has been dealing with the problem since he was 12 years old, but it's the first time it ever affected him in a game. He seems to think the issue is related to stress. If Foster does have the procedure, it shouldn't affect his offseason availability.

Speaking at Texans OTAs Monday, coach Gary Kubiak described WR DeVier Posey's Achilles' rehab as "ahead of schedule."
Kubiak did admit Posey is a candidate to open the season on PUP, although that decision will be made at a much later date. A 2012 third-rounder out of Ohio State, Posey will not be counted on for 2013 impact after a slow rookie year.
