Coach Doug Marrone has determined that Aaron Williams will play safety.
Williams was regarded as arguably the top safety in the 2011 draft class, but he's played corner for the Bills over the last two seasons. It's resulted in two straight years of below-average coverage. Williams figures to battle with Da'Norris Searcy for the starting spot next to Jairus Byrd.

WGR 550's Joe Buscaglia expects the Bills to give Aaron Williams "one more crack" at becoming an NFL cornerback.
The 34th pick in the 2011 draft -- selected ahead of Andy Dalton and Colin Kaepernick -- Williams has struggled mightily in coverage through two seasons. Williams was viewed as a safety by several teams coming out of Texas, and could be given a look there if he doesn't show progress at corner this summer.

Bills CB Aaron Williams (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Williams, out since Week 9, will likely miss his fifth straight game. He practiced on a limited basis the last two weeks, but still isn't completely recovered from his knee injury. The Bills are also listing cornerbacks Leodis McKelvin (back) and Justin Rogers (foot) as questionable, though both are expected to be available.

Bills LCB Aaron Williams (knee) will "miss a few weeks," but is expected to play again this season.
Williams likely has a strained ligament. Getting worked by Andre Johnson before going down Sunday, Williams has graded out as one of Pro Football Focus' 10 worst cornerbacks this season. Leodis McKelvin should start in his absence. It's possible Williams will return to a reserve role.

Bills TE Scott Chandler is sitting out full-squad OTAs while continuing to rehab his torn left ACL.
Chandler suffered the injury on December 23 and his training camp status is in question. The 28-year-old's role in new coach Doug Marrone's offense is also uncertain, although Buffalo did little to upgrade tight end other than draft Chris Gragg in the seventh round. Chandler's 2013 fantasy outlook is bleak.

Bills re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE Mike Caussin to a one-year, $630,000 contract.
Caussin missed the entire 2012 season as he recovered from a torn ACL. Assuming he makes the roster, Cuassin will provide special teams help and insurance at tight end with Scott Chandler now dealing with an ACL tear of his own.
