Shane Vereen caught 4-of-5 targets for 27 yards in the Giants' Week 5 loss to the Chargers.
He added five rushes for 18 yards. It was a disappointing day considering how many receiver injuries the Giants suffered. With Odell Beckham, Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and Dwayne Harris all on the shelf, we'd say Vereen could be in for a bigger Week 6 workload, but his role seems impervious to outside developments. The Giants will also be facing the Broncos' run-erasing defense. Vereen will remain a low-upside FLEX option. Oct 8 - 6:10 PM
