T.J. Yates completed 17-of-35 passes for 184 yards and three interceptions as the Texans fell to the Ravens in the Divisional round.
Yates led a handful of impressive, chain-moving drives, but the Ravens were there to capitalize every time he messed up. The fifth-round rookie has a habit of telegraphing throws, and Lardarius Webb picked Yates off twice after he stared down Andre Johnson. Yates' third interception, also intended for Johnson, was read perfectly by Ed Reed late in the fourth quarter and all but sealed the loss for Houston. Yates is a promising young player and potential high-grade long-term backup, but he's not going to pose any challenge to Matt Schaub's starting job in 2012 training camp.
