ESPN Giants reporter Dan Graziano believes newly-signed LB J.T. Thomas is the favorite to start at weakside linebacker.
The Giants are apparently concerned Devon Kennard lacks the speed to be effective in coverage on the weak side. Thomas has not been particularly effective in coverage during his four-year career, but is a strong run defender. Kennard figures to move to the strong side, with Jon Beason stationed in the middle. Jameel McClain and Mark Herzlich will provide depth. Sat, Mar 14, 2015 10:53:00 AM
