Brock Osweiler completed 24-of-41 passes for 196 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception in Houston's 27-0, Week 3 road loss to the Patriots.
There's no sugarcoating this one. Osweiler was absolutely horrendous, taking forever to unleash throws and showing zero touch when he did. The night was like a lowlights reel of Osweiler's Broncos film. He was lucky to escape with only one interception. The pick he did throw was a nightmare job where he completely misread the coverage. Osweiler did stick some amazing throws to DeAndre Hopkins, and was hurt by a few drops, but he didn't help the cause this evening. The Texans showed a lack of trust by continually dialing up third down draws. Osweiler now has only three scores and 695 yards through three Texans starts. He won't be a viable QB2 against the Titans in Week 4. Sep 22 - 11:36 PM
