The Indy Star projects Darrius Heyward-Bey as the starter opposite Reggie Wayne.
T.Y. Hilton posted a 50/861/7 line as a rookie and No. 3 wideout last season, significantly better numbers than Heyward-Bey recorded in three of his four seasons with the Raiders. We'd expect the pair to rotate in two-wide sets at first, but the Colts will run plenty of three-wide formations. Hilton still has significant upside as a 23-year-old playmaker for Andrew Luck. He could even end up simply beating out DHB for the starting gig at training camp.

T.Y. Hilton caught eight passes for 66 yards at Baltimore in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
His 13 targets were second only to Reggie Wayne's 18. Hilton's highlight was a 25-yard catch-and-run to set on 3rd-and-26 to set up Adam Vinatieri's 52-yard field goal just before halftime. Hilton was seen limping in the second half, but played through the injury. Arguably the NFL's best rookie receiver, the 92nd overall pick in the draft turned out to be a playmaking gem for GM Ryan Grigson. Hilton finished 25th in fantasy points while outproducing Wayne in the second half of the season.

T.Y. Hilton led the Colts with four catches for 111 yards in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Texans.
Hilton could have had an even bigger game but was ruled down at the goal-line on what would have been a 22-yard touchdown. It's the first time he's topped 100 yards since Week 13. Depending on what Chris Givens does against the Seahawks, Hilton should finish the regular season second among rookies in receiving yards (861) and first in touchdowns (seven). He could be in for another big game next week against the Ravens' secondary.

T.Y. Hilton was held to 34 yards on two receptions in the Colts' Week 16 win over Kansas City.
Although Indianapolis pulled out the victory, its passing game struggled all day as Andrew Luck was often off the mark and frequently under duress. Luck finished with just 205 yards, translating to a slow day for the Colts' third receiver. The Colts wrap up the regular season in Week 17 against the Texans.

Colts placed RB Donald Brown (ankle) and FB Robert Hughes on season-ending injured reserve.
We suspected a high-ankle sprain after Brown was ruled out so quickly last week. The transaction is welcome news for the workload of Vick Ballard, who faces Houston's stout run defense in two of the next three weeks. The oft-injured Brown has missed multiple games in three of his four seasons with the Colts. While he's likely to be back with the team at a reasonable $1.705 million salary next season, Brown has fallen behind Ballard in the eyes of the organization. His Dynasty value is in the tank.

Delone Carter recently underwent shoulder surgery.
Carter tumbled down the depth chart last season, getting just 32 carries in 10 games before an ankle injury landed him on the inactive list. The extent of this surgery is unclear, but he won't have a good shot at carries this year either. Both Vick Ballard and Donald Brown are back.
