Tom Savage completed 22-of-32 passes for 230 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the Texans' Week 11 win over the Cardinals.
Savage started the game well, completing his first six passes for 50 yards and a nice touchdown pass on the move to Lamar Miller. The bad Savage came out after that, however, as he was strip-sacked to help set up Arizona's first score and threw an interception a couple drives later, although the pick was not really his fault. Savage got back on the right track by hitting DeAndre Hopkins for a 28-yard touchdown on the opening drive of the second half, and he made a great play to escape pressure and find Stephen Anderson for a 22-yard gain which set up a go-ahead touchdown early in the fourth. The Texans never relinquished the lead after that. Savage was not great on Sunday, but he did enough to keep his job another week. Nov 19 - 4:16 PM
