Missing 16 games with a broken foot didn't help, but when he played he wasn't nearly as productive as he was during the 2011-12 campaign. Last year, he clicked at a 0.82 points-per-game rate and posted career highs with 37 goals and 67 points. If the Flyers don't make any moves up to compliment their top six during the off-season then Hartnell should get an opportunity to rebound next season alongside Claude Giroux on Philadelphia's top line. I'm back to being healthy again. I'm starting to feel good on the ice. Even when we're losing right now, I'm having fun coming to the rink. That's something that, to start the season, I lost a little bit. All that helped me get a good feeling again about the game." "You get headaches, you're not wanting to do anything, you sit around, you can't work out, you get depressed," said. "You try to work out and you get nauseous, a headache, you want to lay down. It's an awkward feeling, and it's something that when you haven't experienced it before you really don't understand what it is that these guys are talking about. I guess the biggest part is the depression and how you feel about yourself and how you feel about the injury. How dark you go down." There has been plenty of speculation about the future of Bryzgalov in Philadelphia, but some healthy competition and extra rest may benefit him next year and Mason can provide that. In seven appearances with the Flyers, Mason posted a 1.90 goals-against average and a .944 save percentage while earning four wins. He benefited from the change from Columbus to Philadelphia, but the jury is still out on him.
