Kevin Shattenkirk knows it's not easy to play in New York, but he wants to build a successful legacy there.
"If you can bring it home in New York, for me, it's something you can never replicate anywhere else," Shattenkirk said. "New York is New York, and as critical as the fan base is and the media, they're just as happy to see you win and your legacy will kind of live on forever." Expect him to a different dynamic to the Rangers' power play starting this season. He isn't the greatest in his own end, but he's capable of creating offense. Shattenkirk should be a safe bet to surpass the 40-point mark if he stays healthy. He had 56 points in 80 games with St. Louis and Washington in 2016-17. Aug 20 - 10:25 AM
