Thibaut Courtois has handed the Premier League leaders a massive boost by claiming he won't be at Real Madrid next season and would be open to signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

Courtois has been subject of significant interest from Real Madrid over the course of the last year, but reaffirmed his commitment to Chelsea when asked whether he would play for Real next season. "No," Courtois told Spanish outlet Cerdena Ser radio, "I don't see myself at Real Madrid. I see myself at Chelsea, the club that six years ago saw me playing in Belgium and gave me the opportunity to sign for them." Although Courtois has yet to be offered an extension to his current contract, which expires in 2019, the Belgium goalkeeper said he would like to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge. "We will see at the end of the season if they offer me something. For the time being, there has not been an offer," he added. "I'm happy in London and I'm delighted with the success we are having this season."

Belgium manager Roberto Martinez confirms Eden Hazard could spend between 10-15 days on the sidelines because of injury.

The Chelsea play maker failed to travel to Stoke after feeling discomfort in his calf during the final training session on the eve of the game. Antonio Conte revealed Hazard had suffered a "minor muscle problem" but it now looks like 26-year-old is rated as touch and go for the visit of Crystal Palace on April 01. "Eden has suffered an injury before the match against Stoke, it does not look so serious," Martinez said. "But he will not play against Greece. We are going to follow the injury." His absence at the Bet365 Stadium handed Willian a rare Premier League start, and the Brazilian served a timely reminder of what the Chelsea fans had been missing as he fired home a trademark free-kick past the hapless Lee Grant after only 13 minutes.

Victor Moses has joined up with his international teammates in London, although he is expected to leave the group because of injury.

Moses had been a doubt during the build-up to the game versus Stoke, but the Chelsea winger managed to come through 70 minutes at the Bet365 Stadium as the champions elect secured another valuable three-points on the road. However, following the game, Chelsea informed the Nigerian Football Federation that Moses was struggling with a minor calf injury and the 26-year-old is expected to be withdrawn from the squad for the upcoming friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso. The extent of the problem is not yet known, but with Eden Hazard [also calf] facing a race against time to be fit for game week 30 [vs Crystal Palace], Antonio Conte can ill-afford to lose another one of his star performers.

Eden Hazard has pulled out of the Belgium squad due to a calf injury that forced him to miss Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Stoke City on Saturday.

After the match, Antonio Conte said: "Hazard in the last training felt a bit of a problem in his calf and for this reason I preferred not to risk him." Although the injury is believe to be a minor muscle problem, Hazard will miss World Cup qualifier against Greece and friendly against Russia. He will have 12 days to recovery ahead of Chelsea's next Premier League match, a home fixture with Crystal Palace on Saturday, April 1.

Chelsea center-back David Luiz is still struggling with the knee injury he suffered in December but says he does not need surgery.

Luiz, who was not named in Brazil's squad for World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Paraguay, has played the last three months with a knee injury he suffered in a tackle from Manchester City's Sergio Aguero back in December. "Only I feel the pain so nobody knows [how hard it’s been to cope with]. But we have amazing medical staff and they have been great with me," he told Standard Sport, "I won’t need an operation in the summer. But it’s very good for me to rest, not just the knee, but the body as well." A mainstay in Antonio Conte's defense, Luiz will have 12 days to recover before a crowd list of fixtures. Following a home match on April 1 with Crystal Palace, the Blues will face Manchester City and Bournemouth within a span of just four days.

Chelsea edge nearer to the Premier League title after another impressive and hard fought win on the road.

News broke late on Friday evening that Eden Hazard had not travelled with the squad to Stoke and many supporters were fearing the worst without their talismanic play maker. However, Chelsea battled their way to another three-points and took a step closer to becoming Champions in a highly charged and competitive match at the Bet365 Stadium. "In the last training, Hazard felt a bit of a problem in his calf," said Conte. "And for this reason, I preferred not to risk him." His absence handed Brazilian teammate Willian only his third league start of the year, but 28-year-old proved his worth by opening the scoring on 13 minutes and setting Chelsea on their win to a crucial 2-1 victory. Hazard will be assessed over the next 24-48 hours and the Belgium FA have been notified of the possibility that he could be withdrawn from the upcoming internationals.

Gary Cahill conceded a penalty late in the first half but redeemed himself with an 87th minute winner at the Britannia as Chelsea bested Stoke City 2-1 on Saturday.

The Blues center back looked like he was going to be the goat on the day as the match came down the stretch. His trip/push on Jon Walters had allowed the Potters to equalize Willian's early set piece goal. The Potters gave as good as they got until Cahill came to the rescue late. A corner kick rebounded around the box to the feet of David Luiz who shot from the top of the box. All the Potters could do was block the shot and the rebound fell to Cahill who powered it home for the 87th minute winner. The win came despite Eden Hazard missing out on the match.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis reiterated the club's interest in bringing in Chelsea legend John Terry this summer.

Pulis said the Chelsea captain turned down a move to The Hawthorns in the January transfer window as Terry wanted to see out his contract with the club. But Pulis hinted that West Brom would try again for the central defender in the summer with Terry expected to become a free agent: "There was no approach made, it was just finding out what the situation was, and the situation was that John wanted to stay at Chelsea...If he becomes available in the summer we'll sit down then and have a little think about what we've got and what we haven't got and then we'll take it from there."

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has again stressed that his training-ground row with Antonio Conte in January was "nothing," ESPN FC is reporting.

In January, it was reported that Costa had been axed from the match day squad to face Leicester City as punishment after the striker rowed with fitness coach Paolo Bertelli. When asked about the row after he scored in Monday's 2-1 win at West Ham, Costa reiterated the incident was insignificant. "It was nothing," he told ESPN Brasil. "Things happen, but I'm showing now that there's nothing to it." Since Costa's return to the squad after the scarp the Spanish international has scored three goals in seven appearances, including two in his last two. Chelsea will now turn their attention to the FA Cup, as the Blues will face Manchester United in a sixth-round clash at Stamford Bridge next Monday.

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa scored as Chelsea cruised to a 2-1 derby win over West Ham on Monday.

While West Ham controlled the match early on, Chelsea needed just one sight of goal to break the deadlock. In a clinical counter-attacking move, N'Golo Kante intercepted a pass and feed Eden Hazard. The Belgian played a one-two with Pedro and blazed through the Hammers backline, before tucking away his finish after rounding Darren Randolph. Chelsea would then go on to seal the victory through Diego Costa, who tapped in from close-range to score his 49th career PL goal in the 50th minute. Despite West Ham pulling one back late, Chelsea held on to go 10 points clear at the top of the table.

Antonio Conte has revealed Eden Hazard has a minor injury but stated the Belgian will be fit for Monday's trip to West Ham United.

Speaking at his pre-match conference, Conte said Hazard picked up an injury after a collision during training but was confident the problem is not serious. When asked if there were any fresh injury concerns, Conte said: "Nothing important, apart from a little problem for Eden Hazard. He got kicked when we began training again on Wednesday but I think it is nothing serious." This is great news for fantasy owners as the 26-year-old has been a top performer this season, scoring 10 goals and assists in 25 appearances so far.

A year ago, Victor Moses' future at Chelsea looked dim; now, the winger has signed a new contract through the 2021 season.

The Nigerian international has found his niche as a right wing-back in manager Antonio Conte's vaunted 3-4-3 system with Moses starting every Premier League match since October 1 against Hull City. Following loans at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham in previous seasons, Moses seems to have found his place at Stamford Bridge: "I feel very excited. I’m delighted to be here for another few years now and to sign a new deal. Now it’s time to concentrate on the team and keep working hard to make sure we win games and try to win the Premier League this season. We’re having a great season, I’m enjoying my football and we have a good manager here that has given every single one of us confidence."

Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic said he has no hard feelings over a failed move to Bournemouth last month.

The club reportedly accepted a £12 million bid from Bournemouth in the winter transfer window, but would only let the Bosnian international leave if a replacement could be found to back up Thibaut Courtois. Despite not playing a single minute in the Premier League this season, Begovic said his focus is on winning a title at the club: "It’s no problem. I’ve been around the block so I have experience. If the club count on me and want me to stay here, I will stay and that was obviously the case [last month]. I’m happy with that and hopefully I will lift a couple of trophies at the end of the season."

Cesc Fabregas and Pedro both scored and assisted each other's strikes as Chelsea continue to pace the league with a 3-1 win over Swansea City.

Chelsea took another step toward securing the title this season with a convincing win over the Swans, though they did hit a bump midway through the match. Fabregas opened the scoring from close range, getting on the end of several nifty passes by the Chlesea attack, with Pedro providing the final pass. A free kick by Swansea just before halftime led to an equalizer though, and Chelsea looked a bit shell-shocked as the second half got going. They eventually found their stride again though and took the lead on a Pedro strike from outside the box that Lukasz Fabianski let through his hands. Fabregas, who made the most of a rare start, got the assist and was heavily influential on the day. Diego Costa put the icing on the cake, turning in a cross from Eden Hazard.

In spite of failing to acquire his signature in the January transfer window, Bournemouth are still rumoured to be chasing the signing of Asmir Begovic.

Eddie Howe looked to replace current starter Artuc Boruc in January to try and deal with Bournemouth's poor defensive record of late. However, Antonio Conte revelaed at the time that Chelsea could not accept an offer for the Bosnian unless both a £12m price tag was met and Chelsea found a new backup for Courtois. Chelsea sought Craig Gordon to pave the way for Begovic to move, but the initiative was ultimately unsuccessful. Begovic has sat idle for most of this season for the Blues, making six appearances in total.
