Cesc Fabregas was impressive in his first season with Chelsea and was a solid fantasy pick for most of the season.

Fabregas finished seventh in scoring amongst midfielders in the Yahoo! fantasy game. He played in 34 matches and had 18 assists amongst a number of other stats that added up to 306 fantasy points. Fabregas should be expected to continue his solid performance into next season and he has every chance at finishing in the top five amongst midfielders if he can play in all 38 matches next season. It's worth noting his three-match ban was reduced to one match and he'll be available to start the season in gameweek 1.

Eden Hazard finished the Premier League season as the highest scoring midfielder in the Yahoo! fantasy game.

Hazard was spectacular the entire season, playing in every single match. He was expensive for most of the year but was well worth his price week in and week out. On top of 14 goals and 9 assists, Hazard won 113 fouls and had 33 shots on target, leading his way to 439 fantasy points on the season. The Belgian midfielder will be a top three fantasy pick next year in almost any format.

Petr Cech played his last match for Chelsea as the Blues lifted the title in the last match of the season.

Cech is heavily rumored to be leaving the Blues this summer in search of playing time and this will likely end up being his last match in a Chelsea jersey. If he ends up at another Premier League team, Cech will be a fantastic Premier League option next season as he has shown this year that he is still in top form. At Chelsea, it will be Thibaut Courtois who is the future between the posts and he will be the top fantasy goalkeeper choice for years to come.

Loic Remy scored twice to give Chelsea one last win in the Premier League this season, this time a 3-1 win over Sunderland.

The Blues finish the season with 87 points and an eight point lead on Manchester City but it could have easily been more if they didn't get complacent in the last couple of weeks. Loic Remy showed he possesses the quality needed at the top level as he's done all season when filling in for the injured Diego Costa. Costa also scored today and the Chelsea striker force goes into next season healthy and in form. The Blues are already the favorites for the title next season and Costa and Remy will be big part of their run.

Juan Cuadrado was subbed out in Chelsea's last match of the season with a knock.

Cuadrado was replaced by Loic Remy right before the half. The extent of the injury is unknown, so we will update you as we know more. Cuadrado was rarely used by Jose Mourinho this season and his future at the club is uncertain. There will be rumors surrounding Cuadrado this summer and he could very well leave just months after arriving at the club. If he does stay at Chelsea, his fantasy value will be limited next season as we don't know how much playing time he'll get from Mourinho.

Didier Drogba was carried off the pitch in what is most likely his last Chelsea match.

The Blues' legend started the last Premier League match of the season in what was a move to give him the respect he deserves at the club. He was subbed out after 28 minutes and he saw his teammates literally carry him off the pitch while he earned a standing ovation from the fans. Drogba said earlier today that he wants to play another year of football but will likely need to go to another club to do it because of the situation at Chelsea, so it seems his time in a Blues' shirt is over. He has said multiple times he would be interested in returning to Chelsea in a managerial role, but his time as a player is finished.

John Terry is unsure about becoming a manager after his playing days are over.

John Terry is on record that he wants to become a manager once he is done playing but a recent interview has seen him skeptical about the decision. All we know is that Terry is still a top defender and he will be a top fantasy pick next season as long as Chelsea don't make any huge moves this summer. Terry is expected to play this weekend and should be used with confidence as Chelsea have a comfortable home match to end the season.

Petr Cech will play some part of Sunday's match but may not start.

Jose Mourinho is unsure if Petr Cech will start but he will play some part of Chelsea's last match. This could very well be Cech's last match in a Chelsea uniform so it's not out of the question that he starts and is taken out early to get the fans' respect. Since we don't know how much either goalkeeper(Cech or Thibaut Courtois) will play on Sunday, it's very risky to play either one in fantasy. It's very likely neither one earns a clean sheet due to restricted playing time. Avoid both at all costs.
May 22 - 7:44 PM

Jose Mourinho confirmed today that Diego Costa will play once again in the final match of the season.

Costa returned from injury last week and looked healthy. He will play again on Sunday and most likely start, as Jose Mourinho previously said he's going with his best XI in the final week. Didier Drogba or Loic Remy could feature from the bench, but Costa can be trusted in fantasy as long as Chelsea show some sort of energy.

Eden Hazard has been upgraded to doubtful for GW38.

Hazard was initially ruled out for the last match of the season after undergoing a dental procedure to remove his wisdom teeth but Jose Mourinho now hopes Hazard can be involved on Sunday. This is Chelsea's last match of the season and they'll be presented with the cup, so Mourinho will want to play his regulars. If Hazard can be fit, he will feature, but he is a huge risk for fantasy managers.
May 22 - 7:26 PM

Eden Hazard will miss the last match of the season due to a dental operation.

Hazard had to undergo an emergency removal of three wisdom teeth and will not be able to play in the final match of the season. Hazard also missed out on collecting his Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year trophy. The Blues' midfielder is obviously expected to be fully ready for next season. We would expect to see Juan Cuadrado start for Chelsea with Hazard out in the final week of the season.

Chelsea midfield Willian has only played the full 90 minutes five times this season, despite starting 27 matches, according to EPL Stat Man.

Willian has been a consistent starter in Jose Mourinho's rotation this season but he has been subbed out 22 times, the most in the Premier League. That certainly puts a damn on his fantasy output, as his pitch time as been limited. Willian has only played 2328 minutes, compared to Eden Hazard's 3289. This certainly limits Willian's fantasy upside next season, but he should still be utilized as he has enough upside to warrant consideration.

Cesc Fabregas has had his 3-match ban for violent conduct reduced to just one game following a review by an independent panel today.

Fabregas was dismissed at the Hawthorns following a fracas between Gareth McAuley and Diego Costa; as the game was stopped the Spanish midfielder chipped the ball into a melee of players striking Chris Brunt on the head. Referee Mike Jones issued a red card for the offence which carries an automatic ban of 3-matches which would’ve carried over into the 2015/16 campaign. However following today’s review Fabregas will only miss the final game against Sunderland which will please manager Jose Mourinho who was dumbfounded post-match on Monday "Three game ban for this? Jesus Christ! 'Harsh? Of course it's harsh, if you get three games with this."

Cesc Fabregas was sent off in Chelsea's match against West Brom for a moment of total stupidity.

Diego Costa was having an argument with some West Brom players, which then surrounded the referee for a heated discussion. During the discussion, Cesc Fabregas kicked the ball towards the group of players, hitting Chris Brunt in the head. He was shown a straight red and will miss Chelsea's final match of the season. The move was stupid and irresponsible by Fabregas and certainly not needed in what is basically a exhibition match at this point. The only explanation is that the Spaniard has summer vacation plans and needed an excuse to get away from Stamford Bridge a week early. Video of the incident can be seen in the link below.
May 18 - 3:37 PM

Kurt Zouma will likely miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

Zouma picked up a knee problem in Chelsea's last match against Liverpool and will not be risked again. Chelsea have already won the title so there is no reason to risk anyone at this point in time. Jose Mourinho has said he'll play some youngsters in this one and info on that can be found in the link below. Consider Zouma likely to be available for the beginning of next season.
