Chelsea overcame a two goal deficit with Eden Hazard scoring the equalizer to earn a 2-2 draw with Tottenham, ending their rival's hopes of a Premier League title.

With so much on the line and the deep-seeded rivalry between these two clubs, tonight's match was as dramatic as expected. The Blues showed cracks in their defense that had been haunting them all season and let Tottenham build a two goal lead that was taken into halftime. Chelsea would pull one back when a Willian corner fell into the path of Gary Cahill and the center back used his leg instead of his head to fire past Hugo Lloris. Hazard started the game on the bench despite having scored a brace the previous week, but he provided an immediate spark when he came onto the pitch and leveled the score in the 83rd minute, finishing with a beautiful curling effort after being set up by Diego Costa. It has been an overall disappointing season, the worst season for a defending champion in PL history, but Chelsea will be very pleased to be the club to dash the hopes of their arch-rivals from obtaining a league title.

Guus Hiddink confirms Gary Cahill and John Terry will return to Mondays' match day squad when the Blues take on London rivals Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.

The Dutchman revealed Terry has recovered from the Achilles problem which kept him side-lined for the last month while Cahill missed the win at Bournemouth due to illness. In their absence, Hiddink opted for John Obi Mikel to partner Branislav Ivanovic in the heart of the Chelsea defence leaving youngster Matt Miazga on the bench, however, it’s a combination we’ll not be seeing again any time soon. With the skipper not ready to play 90 minutes just yet, Cahill should return to the line-up. Eden Hazard is also expected to be named in the starting XI following his brace in the 4-1 victory at the Vitality.

After a season lost in the wilderness, Eden Hazard scored a brace as Chelsea cruised to a 4-1 victory.

The Belgium international had yet to score in the Premier League this season but he put that streak to rest in style with a brace as the Blues went up early and blew away the Cherries 4-1. Pedro opened the scoring and Willian joined him with Cesc Fabregas assisting both.

Corinthians have stated that they are interested in bringing back Aleksandre Pato if his future is not at Chelsea.

The striker is currently on loan at Chelsea and if the Blues don't sign him permanently this summer, his parent club Corinthians is willing to take him back. The 26-year old hasn't had as much playing time as he's hoped and isn't likely to remain at Chelsea. If he somehow ends up in the Premier League next summer, he wont' be a fantasy option.

The Chelsea striker has admitted he is interested in joining an MLS side next season.

Falcao is currently on loan at Chelsea but recently got over to the wrong side of 30 years old and his form has been sub-par. He never fully recovered from a series of knee injuries and he is set to return to Monaco this summer. An MLS move is certainly not out of the question, and would allow Falcao a chance at relevance when he ends his career.

Gary Cahill returned from international duty with an unspecified "tendon problem" which is still being assessed: "We’ll see what happens with his progress in the upcoming days," Hiddink told the Chelsea FC website.

"He came from the England versus Holland game and appeared to have an injury," Hiddink mused. "The situation was surprising for me. He didn't play but he came back with an injury." His absence and that of John Terry who also missed out at Villa Park due to a "little problem in his Achilles tendon" afforded US international Matt Miazga his first senior appearance since joining in January. The former New York Red Bull defender could not have wished for a better – easier – start to his Chelsea career as the Blues confidently brushed aside the leagues bottom team 4-nil.

Chelsea Football Club have officially announced that Antonio Conte will take over the West London club as manager after he concludes his Euro2016 duties with Italy.

With Jose Mourinho banished from Stamford Bridge for a second time and Guus Hiddink apparently not the long term answer, Chelsea have officially found Mourinho's long-term successor. Antonio Conte comes to the Bridge after a 13 year playing career at Juventus and managerial stops at Arezzo, Bari, Atalanta, Siena, Juventus and Italy. Conte won five Scudetto titles as a player with Juve and three more as manager. He won one Champions League in his playing days but it was his failure to progress sufficiently in that competition that saw him resign his post.

Loic Remy may have kicked his last ball for Chelsea after the striker was replaced during the first half of yesterdays’ win at Villa Park due to a groin problem.

Remy has endured an injury ravaged couple of years at Chelsea – just 9 Premier League starts since joining from Queens Park Rangers - and following this latest setback his time at Stamford Bridge maybe coming to an end. Speaking after the 4-0 win over Aston Villa, Guus Hiddink confirmed: "I think (Remy) will be out for a long period," although when asked if he would play again this season, the Dutchman added: "I can't say because the doctor has to make analysis tomorrow. Next week we will know more. But, my experience is you will not recover in just a few days." Given the form of Diego Costa in recent months, Pato scoring on his debut and the availability of Radamel Falcao only serving to intensify competition for places - Remy could be left out in the cold.

Alexandre Pato silenced his critics with a goal on his debut but the Brazilian was only handed his chance following a first half injury to Loic Remy.

Hiddink chose to start with the Frenchman at Villa Park but Remy lasted barely 23 minutes before he was forced off with a muscular problem. So, after 64 days at the club, Pato was handed his chance to shine and the Corinthians loanee rewarded his managers’ faith by winning and confidently despatching his penalty on the stroke of half-time. With Remy likely to miss a number of weeks and Diego Costa suspended, Pato will be hoping that his performance was good enough to earn him a start against Swansea next weekend. However, the 26-year-old will face competition from the recently returned Radamel Falcao.

Guus Hiddink hinted at changes during Fridays’ media briefing but while the absence of Willian came as no surprise – late return from international duty – John Terry and Gary Cahill missing from the squad did.

Post-match the Dutchman confirmed Terry had missed out due to a minor Achilles problem. Meanwhile, Cahill came back from England duty with a tendon injury even though the defender wasn’t involved in the match versus Holland. "We'll see what happens in the next few days," said Hiddink in response to whether the duo would be available in game week thirty-three. Matt Miazga came in for his debut and the US international could not have wished for a better start to his Chelsea career as the Blues cruised to a comfortable 4-0 win.

Alexandre Pato finally made his Chelsea debut and promptly grabbed his first goal and assist for the club as the Blues smash Aston Villa, 0-4.

Loic Remy got the start up top but limped off the pitch in the 24th minute with Pato replacing him. Two minutes later, Chelsea got on the board when Cesar Azpilicueta found Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the box and the latter scored his first PL goal on a deflected shot. Pato got his first goal just before halftime, drawing a foul to earn a penalty, then finishing from the spot with authority. In the opening minute of the second half, Oscar, who had just replaced Kenedy, played a 1-2 with Pato before picking out Pedro in front of goal and Pedro made it 0-3. The final goal came in the 59th minute when Pedro grabbed a brace, scoring from a near-impossible angle after pouncing off a Brad Guzan parry. Chelsea have now gone unbeaten in league play for fifteen straight matches, the longest run by any club this season.

Diego Costa will have to wait a bit longer to take the pitch for Chelsea this season after the FA extended his ban to three games.

The addition, and a £20,000 fine, comes from a charge of improper conduct set against the Spanish forward by the FA due to the manner in which he left the club's FA Cup quarter-final loss to Everton after seeing a red card. However, Costa was not charged for a confrontation with Gareth Barry, which led to his sending off, after appearing to try to bite the midfielder. The new ban means Costa will miss Saturday's match against Aston Villa as well as next weekend's game against Swansea City.

Graziano Pelle has backed Antonio Conte for the Chelsea coaching job.

Rumors have put Antonio Conte in Chelsea's permanent coaching job at the end of the season and Southampton forward Graziano Pelle thinks he'll be a great choice. Pelle knows Conte from his time playing with the Italy national teams and this may be his attempt at getting more playing time in the national squad. Either way, this reinforces the idea that Conte will coach Chelsea next season.

Chelsea are monitoring Kenedy after the tricky Brazilian was forced off through injury at half-time on Saturday.

The return of John Terry to the Chelsea starting line-up meant Kenedy could be deployed in his more familiar role on the left wing and the youngster had a brilliant opening forty-five before injury cut his afternoon short. Kenedy was felled by a forearm to the face by Cheikhou Kouyate as he cut inside Mark Noble and after receiving treatment before the break, the 20-year-old failed to emerge for the second half.
