Former Rutgers HC Kyle Flood's show cause penalty has expired.

After Flood was fired from Rutgers, he was hit with a show-cause penalty that essentially acted as a suspension for his part of the academic scandal that caused former athletic director Julie Hermann to also lose her job. Flood went 4-8 in his last year with the Scarlet Knights, and is currently an assistant offensive line coach with the Atlanta Falcons.

Uncommitted three-star 2019 LB Travion Brown tagged Washington State as the leader for his pledge.

Brown (6'3/215) will take an official visit to Pullman when HC Mike Leach's squad plays host to Utah on Sept. 29, a week from Saturday. Thus far, that's the only official he has lined up. Fresno State is the other prime contender in the mental hierarchy of the Temecula, California, native, but it would appear that the Bulldogs will have some ground to make up over the coming months. Brown told 247Sports that he plans on signing with his future program during the early December window. On the outlet's composite board, he ranks as the No. 77 prospect in the state of California for the 2019 class. While that might seem like a bottom-feeding ranking, 247Sports, itself, sees things in a slightly more optimistic light and assigns him four-star status while grading him as the No. 343 overall prospect in the cycle.

Uncommitted four-star 2019 LB Cameron Williams is taking an unofficial visit to Iowa this weekend.

Williams (6'3/205) has not yet received an offer from the Hawkeyes, but that could eventually be in the cards depending on how the team and player mesh. At the very least, he'll be able to drink in the awesome atmosphere of a conference night game in Kinnick. Wisconsin will be the opposing combatant, here. Indiana and Purdue are among the other teams pursuing Williams' pledge. On the 247Sports composite board, the Merrillville, Indiana, native slots in as the No. 314 overall prospect in the 2019 class.

Uncommitted four-star 2019 WR David Bell is taking an unofficial visit to Iowa this weekend.

Bell (6'2/180) will be on hand in Kinnick as the Hawkeyes try to deal Wisconsin a second straight defeat. The Indianapolis native has already taken several other unofficial trips to Iowa, so they look to have caught his attention. Beyond this Iowa visit, he has an official visit scheduled for Penn State later this month, and a Purdue official set for November. It's the Boilermakers who are currently being viewed as the favorite to land the wideout's pledge, at least by the 247Sports Crystal Ball. Bell ranks as the No. 115 overall prospect in the 2019 class.

Uncommitted four-star 2019 WR Trey Knox is taking an official visit to Tennessee this weekend.

Knox (6'5/218) will be in Knoxville for Saturday's clash between Tennessee and Florida. Fellow four-star WR Khafre Brown will also be on an official, here, notable as the Vols have just one receiving commitment in the class thus far. Something they'll be trying to change this weekend, no doubt. Very quietly, HC Jeremy Pruitt owns the No. 8 recruiting class for the 2019 cycle by Rivals metrics. Some of this is due to quantity more than outright star quality -- the team already has 20 commitments -- but this kind of recruiting push early under Pruitt should be very encouraging to Volunteer fans. Looping back to Knox, the wideout is eyeing Arkansas, Florida, Notre Dame, Auburn and Alabama in addition to Tennessee. He ranks as Rivals' No. 53 overall prospect in the 2019 class.

According to Rivals, Uncommitted five-star 2019 ATH Quavaris Crouch is the second-best remaining prospect at his position.

Crouch was once ranked as the No. 1 prospect in 2019, but has since been bumped down to No. 9 overall. He is a good two-way player who shines at both linebacker and running back. Rivals' Josh Helmholdt said Crouch "has started to kick the stretch run of his recruitment into gear with official visits being scheduled to Clemson, Michigan and Florida State. Alabama, NC State, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC are also still involved."

According to Rivals, Uncommitted five-star 2019 ATH Bru McCoy is the No. 1 remaining player at his position.

McCoy is ranked seventh overall nationally and No. 1 at his position but could end up higher depending how his senior year goes. The five star recruit has a list of eight schools including USC, Oklahoma, Florida State, Oregon, Alabama, Washington, and UCLA. Rival's Josh Helmholdt explained further, "A two-way player, McCoy’s value with the football may be too great to keep him off offense. He has a top eight, but the hometown USC Trojans are the team to beat." McCoy's commitment will vault a number of teams higher in the recruiting ranks.

Rivals recruiting analyst believes that uncommitted four-star 2019 S Lewis Cine will commit to Georgia.

Cine is ranked as Rivals' top unsigned player in the Lone Star State, so this would obviously be a big get for the Bulldogs. He took a visit to Penn State, and Auburn, Arizona and Tennessee are also contenders. At one point Krueger believed this to be a two-man race between Georgia and the Volunteers, but Penn State can't be counted out at this point. Still, Georgia is considered a favorite for the 6-foot-1, 180-pound safety, albeit not a prohibitive one.

Rivals analyst Chad Simmons believes that an outright commitment to the Tigers could potentially follow if the visit goes off like gangbusters. Uncommitted four-star 2019 WR David Bell will take an unofficial visit to Iowa for their Week 4 matchup with Wisconsin.

Bell (6'2/18) has chosen a nice matchup, too, as Iowa will be dangerous to swing the upset behind what has been one of the more dominant defenses in the country for the early season. The Indianapolis native told Rivals' Blair Sanderson that he would probably be taking his official visit to Iowa City after the season. Penn State and Purdue are two other Big Ten outfits fighting it out with the Hawkeyes for Bell's pledge. Rivals ranks him as the No. 126 overall prospect in the 2019 class. Iowa is viewing him as a priority target, for obvious reasons.

Uncommitted five-star 2019 T Darnell Wright will take an unofficial visit to Penn State on Sept. 29.

Wright (6'6/275) will soak in the atmosphere in Happy Valley when the Nittany Lions do battle with Ohio State later this month. The star tackle prospect is still working his way through his options, with Tennessee, Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson, Miami and Alabama among those also vying for his pledge in addition to Penn State. As for a commitment timetable, the Huntington, West Virginia, native will not be taking any of his five allotted official visits until after he's completed his senior season of high school ball. He plans on making a final decision in the weeks ahead of the traditional February signing day. On the 247Sports composite board, the tough-nosed lineman slots in at a lofty No. 9 overall in the 2019 class. This decision may ultimately come down to Alabama and Tennessee, though there are still quite a few moving parts, here.

Rivals analyst Adam Friedman predicts that uncommitted five-star 2019 T Darnell Wright will sign with Alabama.

Wright (6'6/275) is additionally keyed in on Tennessee, Penn State, Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson and Miami. Friedman passes along that this is looking like it will ultimately boil down to a battle between the Crimson Tide and Volunteers. ESPN's Tom VanHaaren, for one, floated a prediction of Wright-to-Tennessee over the summer. Physicality is the name of the five-star stud's game, but we'd like to see him limber up just a tad. Flexibility and agility are two areas he'll undoubtedly be looking to improve once he lands with a collegiate program. Rivals ranks Wright as the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2019 class.

Uncommitted four-star 2019 DT Siaki Ika will take an official visit to Oregon for their game against UCLA on Nov. 3.

Ika (6'3/247) will be in Eugene for Chip Kelly's return to the stomping grounds on which he made his name. He took an earlier official to USC over the summer and will be checking out LSU in official capacity when Georgia comes calling on Oct. 13. Then there's Alabama, whom we view as a tentative favorite for his pledge. He hasn't quite locked in his official to the defending champs, but the Iron Bowl would be one possibility. On the 247Sports composite board, Ika ranks as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Utah.

He's scheduled official visits to UCLA, Nebraska and Oregon, and the Crimson Tide also could get a visit next month. Uncommitted five-star WR Kyle Ford is visiting Washington on Saturday.

Ford tweeted out that he's making the official visit on his Twitter account. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound wideout has seen his stock explode after his performance this summer at various events, but particularly at the Opening Finals in the beginning of July.
