Ravens selected Missouri Southern State NT Brandon Williams with the No. 94 overall pick.

Williams (6-1, 335) finished his college career as Missouri Southern's all-time leader in sacks (27), earning the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association D-Lineman of the Year award as a senior. Williams ran 5.37 with a 1.79 ten-yard split at the Combine. Despite his D-II pass-rushing production, Williams is a powerful space-eating nose tackle prospect. He'll get to learn behind veterans Haloti Ngata and Chris Canty in Baltimore.

NFL.com's Gil Brandt writes that one team worked out Missouri Southern State NT Brandon Williams as an offensive lineman.

" Williams (6-foot-1, 335 pounds) might not have the ideal height to be a defensive tackle in the NFL, but I think he's got the athletic ability to make an impact as an offensive lineman," Brandt writes. "He played as a true freshman at Missouri Southern State, which tells you something, and he was the Division II defensive player of the year in 2012. He's very strong and is an excellent overall football player. When I worked for the Dallas Cowboys, we successfully converted a lot of guys (like Pat Donovan, who went to four Pro Bowls after we switched him from defensive end to left tackle) who shared the same traits from the defensive to the offensive line. One AFC team did, in fact, work Williams out as an offensive lineman."

Missouri Southern State NT Brandon Williams visited the Rams on Monday.

Williams is a local product, so he doesn't count as one of the 30 in-house visits. The small schooler is one of the better nose tackle prospects in this draft, however, the Rams utilized 2012 first rounder Michael Brockers at that spot last year. We would be surprised to see Williams wind up in St. Louis.

National Football Post's Dan Pompei writes Missouri Southern State NT Brandon Williams could be a third round pick.

"Scouts say he is a bit on the raw side, but they are intrigued by his "big, thick frame and ability to generate power,"' Pompei writes. Williams is a space eating nose tackle that plays with good leverage and power. He recorded 38 reps of 225 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Missouri Southern State NT Brandon Williams did not participate in the school's Pro Day and stood on his Combine times.

Williams was dealing with a hamstring pull and unfavorable Pro Day conditions, since the workout was taking place in 27 degree weather. In Indianapolis, Williams ran a 5.37 forty and recorded 38 bench press reps. He is a space eating nose tackle that can push the pocket with strong leg drive and leverage.

Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl wouldn't be shocked if Missouri Southern State NT Brandon Williams is selected in the first 40 picks.

Williams is "explosive, powerful and athletic" for a 340 plus pounder. The small schooler showed up big during Senior Bowl week, proving that he can more than match up on an equal playing field. Williams is a space eating nose tackle, but don't overlook his ability to close the pocket with strong leg drive and leverage.

Missouri Southern State DT Brandon Williams was mentioned among as a riser from Senior Bowl week among NFL personnel men polled by CBS Sports' Rob Rang.

Rang says Williams' name was looked over among the likes of Sylvester Williams and Kawann Short, but the former is one currently ascending. Built like a fire hydrant nose tackle, Williams occasionally won with burst off the snap but continued to press the pocket with leverage and leg drive.

Missouri Southern State DT Brandon Williams is being talked about as a second-round pick, according to the NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah.

Per Jeremiah, Williams' "surprisingly nimble footwork is what has been most impressive," especially at 341 pounds. The stout nose tackle wins with leverage and a motor to press the pocket, but there were a few occasions where Williams won with quickness off the line of scrimmage.

After shining during Senior Bowl week, Missouri Southern DT Brandon Williams is reportedly being discussed as a potential second-round pick.

Ex-NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah cited Williams' "surprisingly nimble footwork" as a selling point for the massive, 6-foot-2, 341-pound small-school prospect. It's always a big plus when big fellas can move well at their maximum weight. Williams' college coach obviously has a horse in the race, but he's publicly compared the defensive tackle to Seahawks Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy.

Missouri Southern State DT Brandon Williams has been invited to the Senior Bowl.

Williams was voted the MIAA defensive player of the year and finished the season with 18.5 tackles for loss including 6.5 sacks. The senior certainly has the frame to play nose tackle and the week of practice in Mobile could drastically influence his evaluation.
