Cowboys selected William & Mary CB B.W. Webb with the No. 114 overall pick.

Webb (5-10, 184) set a school record with 48 consecutive starts, intercepting 11 passes for the Tribe. He also earned 2012 Co-Special Teams Player of the Year in the Colonial Athletic Conference, averaging 11.2 yards per punt return. Webb ran 4.51 in Indy with a 40.5-inch vertical and 11-foot broad jump, demonstrating lower-body explosion. Webb has starting-caliber attributes, but is undersized and plays like it, often shying from contact. He'll fight for snaps on special teams as a rookie.

Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl believes Williams & Mary CB B.W. Webb is gifted, but plays like he is "allergic to contact."

Weidl calls Webb a "soft edge player versus the run," and he "made a few business decisions on tape." The small school corner impressed during Senior Bowl practices, translating solid tape into good performances against level competition. We think he flashes more physical play at the catch point.
Feb 7 - 1:05 PM

William and Mary CB B.W. Webb will attend the Senior Bowl.

If you just look at Webb's box score, he appears average, but Tribe opponents tended to look away form his half of the field. The week of practice in mobile will be a great opportunity for Webb to show off his skills against FBS level receivers.
