SS	1	Jed Lowrie Sidelined An X-ray on Jed Lowrie's right foot came back clean. Lowrie was injury Tuesday when he was hit by a Yu Darvish pitch. He won't play Wednesday but should be back in the lineup Friday following Thursday's off day. May 21
	2	Hiroyuki Nakajima D.L. Hiroyuki Nakajima (hamstring) is expected to be added to the major league roster when his 20-day rehab window expires on Wednesday. Nakajima is batting just .250 with a .313 on-base percentage at Triple-A Sacramento, but he's made strides defensively and has also showed he can play second and third base. His role with the big club figures to be limited. May 21

RF	1	Josh Reddick D.L. Josh Reddick (wrist) will try taking batting practice on Friday. If it goes well, he'll be cleared to begin a rehab assignment. Reddick discussed last week the possibility of surgery on his right wrist, but he's been able to take dry swings with no issues. If he doesn't suffer any setbacks, it seems possible that he could be activated sometime next week. May 20

S	1	Brett Anderson D.L. Brett Anderson was diagnosed with a navicular stress fracture of his right foot and will be shut down for four weeks. Rough news for Anderson, who just can't seem to stay healthy. The 25-year-old southpaw is set to be reevaluated after four weeks, so his actual return to the Athletics likely won't be until around the early part of July. Dan Straily is filling his spot in the rotation for now, but the A's could turn to Sonny Gray if he continues to struggle. May 17
