This weekend will just be Ryan Blaney’s second-time ever visiting Kansas Speedway behind the wheel of a Nationwide Series car (No. 22 Ford Mustang).

He made his one and only start at Kansas back in 2012 driving for Team Penske, when he started 27th and finished 11th while piloting in relief of Keselowski, who was focusing on his Sprint Cup Series championship hopes. Blaney has made two Camping World Truck Series starts at Kansas with a best finish of third.-Team Penske

Chris Buescher will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Kansas Speedway this Saturday.

The rookie of the year contender has one previous start at the 1.5-mile track, coming in 2013, where he started 10th and finished 16th. He also has two ARCA Racing Series starts at the track. In 2011, he started fifth and finished second, while in 2012, he started ninth and finished eighth, en route to an ARCA Championship. The No. 60 team unloads Chassis RK-832 for the fourth time this season. This chassis previously raced at Auto Club Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Michigan International Speedway, finishing 14th, ninth and 10th, respectively.-Roush Fenway Racing

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) and Biagi-DenBenste Racing announced today they will partner to enter Corey LaJoie in four of the final five NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) races this season.

LaJoie will pilot the No. 98 Medallion Financial Ford owned by Biagi-DenBenste Racing in the events at Kansas Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. LaJoie has one win in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Series, five wins in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and three wins in the ARCA Racing Series. The son of NASCAR champion Randy LaJoie, Corey has five starts in NASCAR's three national series with a Top-10 finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series earlier this year at Bristol. The four events this year in the NNS will give him his most starts in the NNS.-Breaking Limits

Ryan Reed will make his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Kansas Speedway this weekend.

He has one ARCA Racing Series start at the 1.5-mile track, which came in 2012, when he started 14th and finished 10th. The No. 16 team will race Chassis RK-859 for the fourth time this season. This chassis has also raced at Texas Motor Speedway (20th), the spring race at Dover International Speedway (27th) and the most recent race at Bristol Motor Speedway (14th).-Roush Fenway racing

David Starr is back behind the wheel of TriStar Motorsports' No. 44 Camry this weekend at Kansas Speedway.

Serving as the primary sponsor on the No. 44 Camry will be Starr's longtime partner, Niece Equipment. Although Starr has never made a NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Kansas Speedway, he does have 11 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, which includes two top-10 finishes. Mike Harmon's No. 74 team that competes in the NASCAR Nationwide Series has been penalized for a rules infraction committed during a Sept. 26 practice at Dover International Speedway.

The infraction is a P3 level penalty as outlined in Section 12-4.3 of the rule book: "Added car weight. Weight not properly attached. Weight fell out during the event." As a result of this violation, crew chief Gary Ritter has been fined $10,000 and placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31.-NASCAR IMC

His 18 wins rank second all-time. Leads the championship standings with wins a pair of wins at Caraway Speedway and one at South Boston. He has 10 top fives and is the only driver to finish in the top 10 in all 12 races this season. Second to George Brunnhoelzl III with 10 career wins at Caraway. Also has eight poles, 22 top fives, 29 top 10s and a record 1,531 laps led in 39 total starts there. Four of his five career wire-to-wire wins have come at Caraway, including the first two races held in 2014 at the track.
