He started the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro 14th on the grid for the Food City 300. With about 18 laps remaining in the 300 lap event, he was collected when the No. 22 (Ryan Blaney) and No. 42 (Kyle Larson) got together sending the 42 across the track in the path of Kwasniewski's No. 31. Both the 31 and 42 were done for the night. Kwasniewski is currently 12th in the 2014 Nationwide Series championship standings after this event.

Ryan Reed and the No. 16 team battled hard all race long at the ‘World’s Fastest Half-Mile’.

After a brief rain shower delayed the start of Friday’s race under the lights at Bristol, Reed rolled off 19th to start the 300-Lap event. From the drop of the green, he informed the team that he was battling a Mustang that was too tight in the center. The team continued to work on the handling. Reed battled hard inside the race car, bringing his No. 16 Mustang home with a 14th-place finish. With his 12th top-15 finish of the season he remains ninth in the NNS point standings heading to Atlanta Motor Speedway. -Roush Fenway Racing

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. traveled to Fastenal headquarters in Winona, Minnesota last week to unveil the 2015 No. 17 Fastenal Ford Fusion in front of the ‘Blue Team’.

Roush Fenway Racing announced that long-time partner Fastenal will serve as the anchor partner on the No. 17 Ford in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) for a multi-year agreement beginning next season. Fastenal first joined with Roush Fenway in 2010 and has served as a primary partner for multiple Roush Fenway teams and drivers in both the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and NSCS.-Roush Fenway Racing

JR Motorsports announced it will pull from within to fill its impending crew chief vacancy, as Ernie Cope will transition from the No. 5 team to Chase Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA AUTO PARTS team at the conclusion of this season.

Cope will take over for Greg Ives. Last month it was announced that Ives would be Steve Letarte’s successor on the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Ives and Cope will finish out the year in their respective roles. Ives and Elliott currently lead the NASCAR Nationwide Series standings by 10 points over teammate Regan Smith with 11 races to go.-JR Motorsports

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang, came home with a 13th-place finish in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event on Friday night at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

With rain delaying the start of the race over an hour, Bayne took the green flag from the 12th position and was able to maintain his position inside the top 15 for much of the early stages of the 300-Lap event. With the result, Bayne remains sixth in the championship standings and trails championship leader Chase Elliott by 63 points as the NNS heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway next weekend.-Roush Fenway Racing

This is the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang driver's first victory and seventh top-10 NNS finish in 2014. It is his first victory and third top-10 finish in three NNS races at Bristol Motor Speedway.
