Coming off an exciting second-place finish at Iowa Speedway in Newton last week, Noah Gragson and the No. 18 Safelite AutoGlass team head to Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Ill., for Saturday’s Eaton 200.

Gragson and his No. 18 team were one of three teams which participated in Goodyear’s two-day tire test at Gateway in April. The Las Vegas native is hoping the extra track time will help him improve on his result from last year’s race. Despite qualifying seventh, he was forced to start from the rear of the field after his team repaired left-side damage sustained when he got hit by another competitor on pit road during qualifying. He was able to work his way inside the top five late in the race before falling back a few spots in the closing laps and ending the day with a ninth-place finish.-KBM

He has an average finish of 10.2 across his four ARCA starts in 2018. Ryan Newman has finished on the lead lap in 30 of 32 starts on road courses during his career.

Newman has failed to finish only one road course race during his career. He crashed out of the 2014 race at the Glen on lap 55 of 90. Beside that DNF, he fell off the lead lap at the Glen well back at the start of his career in 2004 for his other incomplete race. He has earned only two top-10s in the last 10 decades, but his has proven to be able to go the distance.

Reed Sorenson is entered in the No. 07 Premium Motorsports car and barring any last minute chances, will make his first road course Cup start since 2014.

In 2014, he started both road course races for Tommy Baldwin in the back of the pack – 40th at Sonoma and 39th at the Glen. He improved in both events to finish 32nd and 23rd respectively. What is notable about that is his ability to add place differential points to the total by staying out of trouble.
