Ryan Truex will make his return to the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) for three races this season with Richard Petty Motorsports and will pilot the No. 98 Ford Mustang for Biagi DenBeste Racing.

He will hit the track at Richmond for his first NXS start of the 2015 season. He will also compete at Kentucky Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Truex has a combined 65 starts in NASCAR's top national touring series. He has 35 NXS starts with one pole, two Top-Five and nine Top-10 finishes with a best effort of second at Dover in 2012. Truex has made four NXS starts at Richmond, resulting in one Top-Five and two Top-10 finishes.-Breaking Limits

Frank Kimmel, driver of the No. 25 Ansell-Menards Toyota and all-time series leader with 80 victories, is set to hit another major milestone with his historic 500th ARCA career start Labor Day afternoon at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds’ "Magic Mile" in the Southern Illinois 100.

During his 26-year ARCA career he’s accumulated impressive stats across the board. Since 1990, he has amassed 80 wins, 43 poles, 272 Top-5’s and 372 Top-10 finishes – he’s led over 11,000 laps in 216 races. Kimmel’s unprecedented 10-ARCA championships came in 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2013. He also finished second in driver points in ‘94, '97, ‘99 & ’12. Dakoda Armstrong has just one start at Darlington Raceway in the XFINITY Series race in 2014 where he scored a Top-20 finish.

As an organization, Richard Petty Motorsports made three XFINITY Series starts at the egg-shaped oval, with a Top-20 finish in each of its starts. Currently, Armstrong sits 13th in the XFINITY Series Championship Point Standings.-Breaking Limits

Josh Berry, a two-time late model champion for JR Motorsports (JRM), has been selected to drive the No. 88 Speedco Chevrolet Camaro in the upcoming NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at Richmond International Raceway on Sept. 11.

A 24-year-old native of Hendersonville, Tenn., Berry will make his first NXS start since running two races for JRM in 2014 (Homestead-Miami Speedway and Iowa Speedway). Berry has racked up nine wins in JRM’s No. 88 Speedco late model this season and stands as JRM’s only multi-time champion, notching two NASCAR Whelen All-America Series track championships (Motor Mile Speedway in 2012 and Hickory Motor Speedway in 2014). All totaled, he owns 24 victories for JRM during his late model career.-JR Motorsports

In two XFINITY Series starts at Darlington Raceway, Ty Dillon has recorded a 13th-place finish in the No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro on May 10, 2013 and a 10th-place finish last season in the No. 3 Yuengling Light Lager Chevrolet Camaro.

This weekend at Darlington Raceway, Dillon is one of four XFINITY Series driver's eligible for the $100,000 #Dash4Cash bonus. The highest finisher of Dillon, Brian Scott, Chase Elliott and Daniel Suarez will receive the bonus courtesy of Comcast/XFINITY.-Richard Childress Racing

Brian Scott will be making his seventh career start this weekend in the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway. In six previous starts, he captured one top-10 finish, has an average start of 14.8 and an average finish of 17.7. He finished 11th in the Series' last visit to the 1.366-mile track.

After 23 XFINITY Series races this season; Scott has captured four top-five, 15 top-10 finishes, sits seventh in the driver point standings and has led 136 laps with an average starting position of 5.9 and an average finish of 12.9.-Richard Childress Racing

In a return to his racing roots, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Mason Mingus will head home to Nashville, Tenn., next week to pilot a Pro Late Model stock car at Fairgrounds Speedway during the Tennessee State Fair.

The 20-year-old driver will compete in the Sept. 12 event at the 0.596-mile paved oval, an annual race that helps kick off the 10-day state fair at the Tennessee Fairgrounds. Mingus will bring sponsorship from Ms. Kelli's Karaoke Bar in downtown Nashville and 811, the underground damage prevention phone line, for the 100-lap event.
