Start to finish, Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH provided Jeb Burton and the No. 13 Estes Express team with one of its most complete efforts of the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season.

Following a win in his heat race, Burton lined-up in the second-position, a season-best start, for the main 150-lap feature. Chasing a changing track and a loose Toyota Tundra in the final 40 laps, Burton tagged the wall late in the race and settled for a seventh-place finish in the 1-800-CarCash Mudsummer Classic, his third top-10 finish of the 2014 NCWTS season.-ThorSport Racing

Regan Smith has six starts for JR Motorsports at tracks with little to no banking – Indianapolis Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway.

He has one top-five and four top-10 efforts in those starts and an average finish of 10.0. Smith spent much of last year’s Indy race inside the top seven. The TaxSlayer.com team’s promising day was cut short when the car suffered an overheating issue, relegating Smith to a 19th-place finish.-JR Motorsports

Though the Mudsummer Classic at Eldora Speedway marked Ken Schrader's first race of the year in any NASCAR national series, he's quick to point out that he's far from retired.

"This is our 14th race in July," Schrader said Wednesday, the 23rd day of the month. "Yeah, so we've been keeping busy." Schrader, 59, looked right at home back in NASCAR, driving to a steady fourth-place finish in the second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event on the half-mile dirt track. It was his second straight impressive Eldora performance; he became the sport's oldest pole winner in any national series and led the first 15 laps before fading to a 14th-place effort in last season's inaugural running.-NASCAR.com

Since finishing second in the 2010 Brickyard 400, Kevin Harvick’s results at Indy have gotten progressively worse. He finished 11th in 2011, 13th in 2012, and 19th last year.

A similar pattern has emerged on flat tracks this year when he slipped from first at Phoenix, to seventh at Martinsville, 11th at Richmond, and 14th at Pocono. Last week would have reversed that trend if not for a failed fuel mileage gamble. Harvick has some momentum on his side, but mistakes continue to plague the team this week at Indy.
