Said Bell: "Martinsville is definitely a tough track, but I’m really looking forward to the challenge. This is a track that I enjoy racing on, and I know how hard the team has been working on this truck. We were happy with how everything went in Atlanta, and are looking to continue to build on that." Though Justin Bonsignore hails from Long Island and considers Riverhead Raceway (NY) his home track, he has taken to Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (CT) as if he has raced there from birth.

The 29-year-old racer from Holtsville, New York has collected more NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour wins at Thompson than at any other track including Riverhead. While Bonsignore has said in the past that he has the "Big T" all figured out in the driver’s seat, he gives the credit to the Ken Massa-owned No. 51 team, who will be bringing some brand new ammo to this weekend’s Icebreaker. "We’re bringing a new car, so the guys are working hard, day and night, to get it finished up and 100% for this weekend," Bonsignore told Speed51.com powered by JEGS.

The track known as the "Paper Clip" is less than a 20-minute drive from Timothy Peters' residence in Danville, Virginia.

In 22 starts at his home track, Peters' consistency through the years has yielded an average finish of 11.7 and an average start of 9.9. In 2016, Peters scored a pair of fifth-place finishes at Martinsville, and over the last 12 races there, the hometown driver has been nothing short of outstanding. Over that time, Peters has amassed six top-five's, 10 top-10 finishes, and has only finished worse than eighth twice. The 22 starts under his belt at Martinsville is the most Peters has made at any track during his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career.-Red Horse Racing
