Cole Custer, driver of the JR Motorsports No. 00 Haas Automation Chevrolet, grabbed the lead and sailed to victory Saturday in the ModSpace 125 at Pocono Raceway.

He becomes the ninth first-time winner this season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Series point leader Grant Enfinger finished second and stretched his series point lead over his competitors. Matt Kurzejewski, Austin Theriault and Josh Williams finished third through fifth in the ModSpace 125.-ARCA Racing

Ryan Preece (No. 5 Chevrolet) is at the top of the speed chart in the lone practice for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Strutmasters.com 199 at Bowman Gray Stadium.

The 13.191 second lap was the quickest of the 21 cars out on the track for the final session. No. 28 George Brunnhoelzl III, No. 11 Andy Seuss, No. 65 Danny Bohn and No. 25 John Smith are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. No. 74 Paul Hartwig Jr. was the slowest in this practice.
Aug 1 - 4:50 PM

Sprint Cup driver Kyle Busch (No. 51 Dollar General Toyota Tundra) won the Pocono Mountains 150, his 43rd victory in 126 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races.

This is his first NCWTS victory of 2015. Busch has now won at least one race in all three of NASCAR's national series for the 10th time in his career. This is his first NCWTS victory and second top-10 finish in two races at Pocono Raceway. Busch started second in the lineup and led the most laps (53) in the 69-lap event.
Aug 1 - 3:15 PM

Andrew Ranger (No. 27 Mopar/Pennzoil Dodge) led the first practice for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series JuliaWine.com Le 50 Tours at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres.

His 81.111 mph lap was the quickest of the 25 cars out on the track for the first practice session. No. 18 Alex Tagliani, No. 47 L.P. Dumoulin, No. 99 Marc-Antoine Camirand and No. 74 Kevin Lacroix are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. No. 77 Jocelyn Fecteau was the slowest.
Aug 1 - 2:51 PM

Kyle Busch got back on track with a few minutes remaining in final practice for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway and jumped to the top of the leaderboard. His top speed was 175.240 mph.

Busch was only able to record eight laps after hitting the wall earlier in the session. His tendency to overdrive makes him a risky proposition, but four wins in the last five races proves his can be successful when he stays out of trouble.
Aug 1 - 12:29 PM

Jeff Gordon has struggled throughout the weekend at Pocono Raceway. He posted only the 21st-fastest time (173.842 mph) in Saturday mornings session for the Windows 10 400 and was 15th (172.891) on the final practice speed chart with 15 minutes remaining.

On the heels of a disappointing Brickyard 400 performance at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Gordon drastically needs something to turn around for the team. It appears he will have to wait at least one more week, however, and should be left in the Pocono garage.
Aug 1 - 12:10 PM

Jimmie Johnson had a scary moment in the garage in Saturday’s final practice session for the Windows 10 400. He struck an unnamed hard-card carrying visitor with his Chevrolet. Hard cards are issued to crew and permanent members of the media.

The bystander was reportedly uninjured, but the incident shook the driver. It did not impact his on-track results, however, since Johnson was fourth on the speed chart midway through the session.
Aug 1 - 12:03 PM

Kyle Busch pushed into the wall halfway through the final practice session for the Windows 10 400 and flattened the right side of his car. He sustained significant damage and missed much of the hour.

Busch has a tendency to overdrive his car at times and despite his four wins during the past five races, he readily makes mistakes. If this had happened during the race, his odds of scoring a top-10 would be seriously impaired.
Aug 1 - 11:58 AM

Carl Edwards recorded the quickest 10-lap average in Saturday morning’s practice for the Windows 10 400. His speed of 174.428 mph was set during his first 10 laps on the track.

Due to the size of the track, not many drivers make 10 lap runs and only six went that for in the morning. Still, Edwards’ time is backed up with the fastest single lap in that same session and makes him an all-around threat.
Aug 1 - 11:53 AM

Jeb Burton spun off turn three at Pocono in the first few minutes of final practice for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono. His car was destroyed and he will have to go to a backup.

Burton was already starting near the back of the pack with a 38th-place qualification effort, so this will not impact his handicap greatly. The rookie is taking some time to get up to speed and has not been a great value this season.
Aug 1 - 11:42 AM

Kurt Busch was the fastest driver in Saturday morning’s practice session who was not affiliated with Joe Gibbs Racing. He put his Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet on the chart fifth for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono with a speed of 175.285.

Busch is looking to stretch his incredible seven-race top-10 streak to eight this week. He has the speed and a good enough starting position to accomplish the feat. If he fits a niche on a player’s roster, he should be part of the plan.
Aug 1 - 10:05 AM

Joe Gibbs Racing swept the top four spots in Saturday morning’s practice session for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway. Carl Edwards led the contingent with a speed of 175.812, followed by Matt Kenseth (175.418), Kyle Busch (175.408), and Denny Hamlin (175.298).

JGR has been consistently fast in every practice session and all of their drivers start near the front with Busch on the pole, Kenseth and Edwards lined up side-by-side on row four and Hamlin 11th. Fantasy owners should take whichever of these racers best fit their roster.
