Thad Moffitt (No. 46 Empire Racing Chevrolet) finished 10th in Sunday's Menards 200 at the Toledo (Ohio) Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series.

Moffitt overcame a spin on older tires to climb back to earn his first Top-10 in the series in only his sixth start. As other drivers had tire problems, he fresh General Tires after his spin and settled into his own pace. He became faster as the race came to a close and climbed the scoring pylon to finish 10th. Moffitt had a previous best finish of 11th in the ARCA Racing Series at the short track in Indianapolis. He now has his first Top-10 and is looking forward to more ARCA Racing Series starts on short and intermediate tracks.-Richard Petty Motorsports

Zane Smith, with a bold three-wide maneuver in lapped traffic, passed his MDM Motorsports teammate Chase Purdy with nine laps remaining, then sped away to win the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care Sunday afternoon at Toledo Speedway.

Purdy, in the No. 8 Bama Buggies Toyota, passed Smith from the outside on a lap 175 restart and immediately put five lengths between himself and the eventual winner. The gap stayed the same up inside of 10 laps remaining when Purdy found himself in lapped traffic with Smith bearing down. Smith, with a lapped car to his inside, got inside of Purdy making it three-wide headed into turn three. Once both cleared the lapped car, Smith emerged as the leader.

It was 40 races since L.P Dumoulin had been to Victory Lane. And it only took one lap Sunday for him to end that streak.

He inherited the lead after last lap contact between Andrew Rangers and Kevin Lacroix, and he drove his No. 47 WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare Dodge to the win in the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. For the 39-year-old driver from Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, it was his fifth career NASCAR Pinty’s Series win and third at CTMP. This win also marked Dumoulin’s first win since Trois-Rivieres in 2014.

Dumoulin (No. 47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare/Berier Dodge) led the lone practice for the NASCAR Pinty's Series season-opening Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park near Bowmanville, Ontario.

The lap of 106.085 mph was the quickest of the 22 cars out on the track for this practice session. No. 18 Alex Tagliani, No. 27 Andrew Ranger, No. 95 Anthony Simone and No. 22 Marc-Antoine Camirand are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. Peter Klutt (No. 42 Legendary Motorcar Chevrolet) was the slowest.

Ryan Partridge, flexed his muscle, figuratively and literally, and dominated en route to the Sunrise Ford 150 victory on Saturday evening at Orange Show Speedway, his fifth NASCAR K&N Pro Series West victory of his career and first this season.

He also avenged his frustrating 2016 loss at this track, where he led 137 laps from the pole to see a sure win fall out of his hands due to a mishap with a lapped car down the stretch. Starting from the pole, he led the first 37 circuits before Derek Kraus was able to take the top spot away as the caution flag flew. Shortly thereafter, Partridge re-took the lead and never looked back, leading all the way to the finish.

Daniel Suarez finished second in the 2018 All-Star race.

Suarez was a contender in the later stages of the race. Even though this event did not offer Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series points, the second-place finish is a huge confidence booster for the sophomore driver.
