Alex Tagliani (No. 18 Lowe's Canada/EpiPen/St.Hubert Dodge) has five wins, eight poles and 19 top fives, 32 top 10s in 52 career NASCAR Pinty’s Series starts.

Four of his five wins at have come on the ovals (Sunset Speedway 2015-16 and Edmonton 2008 & 2016). His lone road course win came last season in Toronto. Won the inaugural race at the Edmonton Int'l Raceway oval in 2014 and has scored top-10 in all three starts at the track.

Finished second in last year’s final season standings. Currently holds the series’ record for consecutive wins at a track with three (ICAR, 2012-14; Trois-Rivieres, 2008-10). The average speed of 127.717 mph was best of the 18 cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 18 Kyle Benjamin, No. 48 Brennan Poole, No. 11 Blake Koch and No. 42 Tyler Reddick are the rest of the top-five on this list.

Cayden Lapcevich (No. 76 Fastline Motorsports Dodge) the defending NASCAR Pinty’s Series champion has five wins, 14 top-five, 20 top-10 and one pole in 25 career starts.

Became the youngest champion in the history of the NPS last season at 16 years, 10 months and 16 days. He also became the youngest race winner in the history of the series with his victory at Wyant Group Raceway last July. Recently named a member of the NASCAR Next class highlighting young and up-and-coming talent within NASCAR. He finished third at Edmonton Int'l Raceway in his first start.

He ran a fast lap of 129.929 mph. No. 20 Ryan Preece, No. 22 Sam Hornish Jr., No. 18 Kyle Benjamin and No. 11 Blake Koch round out the top-five of the 40 cars out on the track. The No. 40 Camaro, driven by Stan Mullis, was the slowest in the final practice session.

Only driver to recorded two wins in seven starts during his rookie season in 2015. Won road races at Circuit ICAR and Circuit de Trois-Rivieres. Won from the pole at CTMP in last month’s season opener and enters this race winner of two races in a row series taking his second career win at Circuit ICAR three weeks ago and scoring his first win in Toronto. He also leads by points standings by two points (300-298) over Alex Labbé. Became the first driver in the history of the series to win a caution-free race last season at ICAR in his first start at the track. The lap of 127.422 mph was the best of the 40 cars completing laps in this session. No. 7 Justin Allgaier, No. 20 Ryan Preece, No. 9 William Byron and No. 33 Brandon Jones made up the rest of the top-five on the speed chart. The No. 40 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Stan Mullis, was the slowest.

He won the pole and his lone win in the 2015 season-opener at CTMP. His other pole came at Sunset Speedway also in 2015. He has two top-10 finishes in as many races at Edmonton Int'l Raceway with his best finish of ninth last year.

Derek Kraus (No. 19 Central Iowa Architectural Toyota) sped through two qualifying laps at bumpy Iowa Speedway as if he was a veteran who had always raced there. The 15-year-old from Stratford, Wis. won the pole for Friday night’s Casey's General Store 150, the annual NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West combination race at the .875-mile oval.

Kraus, driving for Bill McAnally Racing, had a fast lap of 128.404 mph. Chris Eggleston, who was in the top two in both of Friday’s practice session, was second at 128.398 mph. Ruben Garcia (128.059) was third and took home the Coors Light Pole Award for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Todd Gilliland and Ben Kennedy completed the top five. Collin Cabre, Tyler Dippel, Chase Cabre, Harrison Burton and Jesse Little rounded out the top-10.

The lap of 125.834 mph was the quickest of the 31 cars out on the track for the first practice session. No. 99 Chris Eggleston, No. 04 Ronnie Bassett Jr., No. 17 Chase Purdy and No. 19 Derek Kraus are the rest of the top five on the speed chart.
