Greg Biffle entered the Crown Royal Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard with a three-race streak of top-10s that included a season-best fifth on the flat New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He crashed hard on lap 53 and finished 39th—the next to last driver in the lineup.

Pocono Raceway will be a huge test for this team. If they can rebound, Biffle could turn the tide and begin working on moving up the points’ standings. Biffle is well outside Chase consideration and this organization is not prepared to run all the way up to the top 15 from 22nd, but they could be one of the best differentiators in the coming weeks if they consistently challenge for top-15s.
Jul 25 - 11:38 AM

At Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Kurt Busch finished outside the top 15 for the third time in the past four races. He was 16th in the Crown Royal Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard after starting 11th.

One would like to say that Busch ran better than he finished, but he garnered only the 13th-best driver rating from NASCAR Statistical Services. That suggests he finished fairly closely to how he performed and raises questions about his ability to rebound in the next few weeks.
Jul 25 - 11:16 AM

Chris Buescher was the top Rookie of the Year contender at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He finished 14th in the Crown Royal Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard after starting the day solidly in 22nd. This placed him one position ahead of Chase Elliott.

Buescher and the Front Row Motorsports scored nine top-25 results in the opening part of the season, but this was their first top-15. No one expected it to come in one of the biggest races of the year, but fantasy owners who rolled the dice on him were well rewarded.
