The finish was Buescher’s best finish at Bristol and puts him in a tie for the XFINITY points lead. In just four career XFINITY starts at the half-mile track, he now has one top five and three top-10 finishes. He started the 300-lap race at Bristol from the 14th position and quickly began to advance through the field. Buescher lined up on the top line in fourth for the final restart with just over 10 laps remaining and was able to advance one position, while challenging for second, ultimately crossing the finish line third and tying (with Ty Dillon) for the XFINITY points lead.-Roush Fenway Racing

At 17 years old, making only his seventh K&N Pro Series East start, Kyle Benjamin, driver of the No. 27 Eibach Ford, raced side-by-side with William Byron, driver of the No. 9 Liberty University Chevrolet, with less than 30 laps remaining.

But the pressure didn’t break him. Benjamin was able to hold off Byron on the last restart and went to score his first career win in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East taking the checkered flag in the PittLite 125 Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway. The win was the first in seven career starts in the series and also the third different winner in as many races this season. Benjamin, who is a Roush Fenway development driver, won by 0.910-seconds over Byron who entered the race as the most recent winner in the series at Greenville Pickens last month.

Sprint Cup regular Joey Logano won the Drive To Stop Diabetes 300, his 23rd victory in 138 NASCAR XFINITY Series races.

This is the No. 22 Discount Ford Mustang driver's second NXS victory and third top-10 finish in 2015. This is his second victory and seventh top-10 finish in nine NXS races at Bristol Motor Speedway. Logano led all 300 laps - a BMS NASCAR XFINITY Series race record. It was also an XFINITY Series record for most laps led in a race. Logano's win was the second straight victory for the No. 22 Ford at Bristol Motor Speedway (Ryan Blaney, 8/22/14).
