Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) driver Matt Tifft and Venturini Motorsports (VMS) will reunite for their third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) effort this weekend in the Toyota Tundra 250 at Kansas Speedway.

The early season NCWTS pairing between Tifft and VMS continues to build momentum. Tifft finished ninth at Martinsville Speedway in his VMS prepared Toyota Tundra and claimed a top-20 finish in the NASCAR Trucks' season opener at Daytona. He has five NCWTS career starts with a pair of top-10 and top-20 finishes since making his series debut in 2014. Kansas Speedway will be his second truck start on a 1.5 mile track. Tifft will pilot his unsponsored No. 25 Toyota Tundra with crew chief Dave Leiner in command.-Venturini Motorsports

The 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway, which plays host to Friday night's Toyota Tundra 250, will mark Cameron Hayley's fourth track debut of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season.

Although the young rookie has never raced at Kansas Speedway, he can look for guidance within the ThorSport Racing organization. Hayley's two veteran teammates, Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter are the only drivers entered in the 28-truck field that have won at the Midwestern track. Furthermore, his crew chief, Jeff Hensley has 11 NCWTS starts to his resume at Kansas, including two poles (Mike Skinner, 2006 and 2007), 204 laps led, six top-five and seven top-10 finishes.-ThorSport Racing
May 5 - 8:53 PM

In seven previous starts at the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway, Timothy Peters has recorded one top-five finish and two top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 11.1 and an average finishing position of 15.1.

He has completed 1059 of 1134 laps (93.4 percent). He will drive chassis number 010 in the Toyota Tundra 250. Peters piloted this chassis to a win at Iowa in 2013 and the chassis was raced at Iowa Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway in 2014.-Red Horse Racing
May 5 - 8:49 PM

Ben Kennedy has recorded only one start at Kansas Speedway, in 2014.

He started the race in the 30th position, and finished 20th in his rookie season. Kennedy will pilot chassis No. 20 from the Red Horse Racing stable. This chassis was utilized twice in 2014, at Texas Motor Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway, and has been significantly updated since then.-Red Horse Racing
May 5 - 8:42 PM

Matt Crafton, who went to victory lane at the 1.5-mile track in 2013, will not only have the same chassis he piloted to his third career victory at Kansas Speedway, he is the only driver entered in the 167-lap race that has competed in all 14 NCWTS events at the Midwestern track.

In fact, the two-time champion sets the standard for dominance at Kansas Speedway. Crafton is tied for the most top-five finishes (3), has more top-10 finishes (6), has completed more laps (2239), and has the most lead lap finishes (8) than any other active NCWTS driver entered in the 15th annual event. Furthermore, according to NASCAR's Loop Data Statistics, Crafton ranks first in Laps in the Top 15 (1092).-ThorSport Racing

Brendan Gaughan has been heading the wrong direction on the similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks. He finished 28th at Atlanta Motor Speedway, was 38th on his home track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and failed to qualify at Texas Motor Speedway.

The Duck Commander 500 at Texas was one of four consecutive events for which he failed to qualify. He made the show at Talladega SuperSpeedway last week, but fantasy owners will not want to lock him in before time trials.
May 5 - 7:21 PM

Michael McDowell has been steady and consistent on similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks while driving for the No. 95 Leavine Family Racing team.

In 10 starts on this track type, McDowell has earned seven results of 27th through 32nd. Another finish was 32nd, one was 35th, and he had one engine-related DNF last year. At issue is the fact that he often qualifies better than he finishes and loses place differential points.
May 5 - 7:20 PM

Alex Bowman has made three starts on similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks this year driving for Tommy Baldwin Racing. All of his results ended in a "3."

Those results were about as inconsistent as possible, however. Bowman finished 23rd at Atlanta Motor Speedway, was last with a 43rd at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and split the difference to finish 33rd at Texas Motor Speedway.
May 5 - 5:12 PM

Matt DiBenedetto failed to qualify in his first two attempts on the similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks of Atlanta Motor Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He finished 34th in the Duck Commander 500 at Texas in his third attempt.

Given his lack of experience on the track type, 34th was a respectable result. Fantasy owners can expect another mid- to low-30s finish, which could make him a marginal pick if he qualifies badly enough to earn place differential points.
May 5 - 5:11 PM

Bobby Hamilton Jr. finished 22nd in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series race at Talladega (AL) Superspeedway.

He started the No. 97 Nitroforce Industries Titan 1000 Dodge 30th on the grid for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200. He completed 77 laps of the 79 lap event. He is currently ninth in the 2015 ARCA Racing Series championship standings.
