Zach Randolph scored 17 points with 14 rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer against the 76ers during a 101-83 victory on Saturday.

That's eight consecutive double-doubles for Z-Bo. In that span, he's averaged 18.8 points, 13.9 boards, 2.5 boards, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks. Considering his injury history, this is a sell-high opportunity.
Jan 24 - 11:57 PM

Courtney Lee was a no-show against the 76ers on Saturday with eight points, one rebound, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

He only scored one point on Wednesday and has hit rock bottom since the Jeff Green deal. However, Lee was hot in his three previous games, so there is still some hope. Unless it's to grab someone like D.J. Augustin or even O.J. Mayo, Lee is a hold for a couple more games.
Jan 24 - 11:54 PM

Jeff Green made 6-of-11 from the field for 18 points against the 76ers on Saturday with one rebound, one assist and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Before tonight, his efficiency has been down with his new team. He made 43.4 percent from the field with 1.4 treys with the Celtics this season, but he was at just 38.1 percent from the field with 0.6 treys with the Grizzlies before tonight. There's not a ton of upside here.
Jan 24 - 11:50 PM

Vince Carter scored 13 points in 24 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday with six rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.

He didn't score at all in his previous two games, but a game with the 76ers can bring a lot of guys to life. Carter's minutes have dipped since the Jeff Green deal and he's not worth owning in most leagues.
Jan 24 - 11:46 PM

Courtney Lee and Jeff Green are starting against the 76ers on Saturday.

Tony Allen will come off the bench. The Grizzlies aren't going to shuffle the minutes too much with these guys, but it'll just be who each guy plays next ty o. There is no need to adjust the projections much here.
Jan 24 - 7:51 PM

The Memphis Grizzlies announced on Thursday that they have now officially signed Tyrus Thomas to a 10-day contract.

It's great to see Thomas back in the league, but the Memphis frontcourt is currently crowded and there's not a lot to love from a fantasy perspective. Thomas is better suited on the wire in most leagues for now.
Jan 22 - 4:37 PM

Beno Udrih (right knee contusion) is probable for Saturday's game against the 76ers.

Udrih filled in nicely for Mike Conley while he was out over the weekend, but played just 17 minutes off the bench on Monday. While he's worth a look on night's when Conley doesn't play, Udrih doesn't belong on fantasy rosters outside of deep leagues.
Jan 22 - 1:24 PM

Tyrus Thomas is in Memphis awaiting a physical before he signs with the team.

Contrary to reports, Thomas has not yet inked his 10-day contract as he still needs to pass a physical. He did not practice with the team on Thursday, but would presumably be available for Saturday's game against the 76ers if he passes his physical. Thomas will join a crowded frontcourt in Memphis, so he can safely be ignored in all but the deepest of fantasy leagues.
Jan 22 - 1:06 PM

Courtney Lee played 29 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, scoring one point with five rebounds, one assist, three steals, one block and zero turnovers in 29 minutes.

Lee was very productive in two games off the Grizzlies' bench earlier this season, but he faces a fresh challenge for minutes and touches now that Jeff Green is starting at SF alongside Tony Allen. Lee shot 0-of-3 tonight and is unlikely to hold standard-league fantasy value while playing a diminished offensive role with the second unit.
Jan 21 - 11:42 PM

Jeff Green was very quiet in his first start for the Grizzlies on Wednesday, scoring six points on 2-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, one assist and one block.

Green also committed four fouls and his fantasy value may take a dive as a starter, as he won't get nearly as many per-minute touches or shot attempts as he was seeing with the second unit. He's been solid since the trade to Memphis and owners should give him some slack even if he flops again vs. the 76ers' lenient defense on Saturday.
Jan 21 - 11:36 PM

Marc Gasol made 9-of-16 field goals and 8-of-9 free throws to finish Wednesday's win vs. Toronto with a game-high 26 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Gasol is averaging an admirably steady 19.2 points per game this season, with three games above 30 points and five games in single-digits. The Raptors have allowed opposing centers to shoot 53.4 percent this season, the sixth-highest percentage allowed in the NBA, but Gasol is an elite option regardless of his opponent.
Jan 21 - 11:35 PM

Jeff Green will start against the Raptors on Wednesday.

It'll be his first start with his new team. Green has been in double-digit scoring in every game with the Grizzlies and his minutes might climb into the mid-30s. He's still a risky play tonight considering he has not been very efficient. Tony Allen or Courtney Lee will move to the bench. We'll add an update once the info is available.
Jan 21 - 6:31 PM

Tyrus Thomas will not be available to play on Wednesday against the Raptors.

His 10-day contract reportedly doesn't begin until Thursday so there is no cause for concern. Thomas has a lot of work to do in order to get playing time in a crowded frontcourt so there is no need take a flier on him outside of ridiculously deep leagues.
Jan 21 - 12:09 PM

Jordan Adams, Jarnell Stokes, and Russ Smith have all been sent down for a D-League stint.

None of these guys are going to have much value in Memphis this season as long as the Grizzlies' main guys are healthy. Leave them on the wire.
Jan 20 - 7:03 PM

Tyrus Thomas has reportedly signed a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies.

Through two games with the Iowa Energy of the D-League Thomas averaged 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds. However, he will be entering a very crowded rotation in Memphis and will be fighting for reserve minutes with Kosta Koufos and Jon Leuer, so he's unlikely to be able to provide any value in standard leagues. Deep league owners can use a wait-and-see approach.
