Mike Conley (heel surgery) expects to be a full go for 2018-19.

"Thankfully I had the surgery early enough to where I have a full summer of work and getting my body ready for an 82-game season," Conley said. His ADP should be way down after making it through just 12 games with 17.1 points, 4.1 assists and 2.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.0 triples on 38.1% shooting. He will be entering the third year of his five-year, $153 million deal, but carries a lot of risk because of his durability and the potential for Memphis to tank again.

Chandler Parsons shared his thoughts on his disappointing 2017-18 season.

"I had moments this year where I felt good and felt like myself, and I had moments where the soreness and stiffness were just too much," Parsons said. "I want to play. I want to be healthy. And I’m doing everything in my power to get there." He averaged 7.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 19.2 minutes, playing in a total of 35 games. Needless to say, the Grizzlies should be relieved that he's halfway through his four-year, $94 million contract.

David Fizdale will interview for New York's head coaching position this week.

Fizdale is also being considered by the Suns, but Mike Budenholzer is believed to be the favorite for that job. Fizdale is considered one of the best coaches available and it shouldn't be long before he's back on the sidelines. Mark Jackson, Jerry Stackhouse, Mike Woodson and David Blatt have all been linked to the Knicks as well.
Apr 18 - 9:39 AM

The Suns will interview David Fizdale for their coaching position, according to Scott Bordow of the Arizona Republic.

The Suns look to be going for the top-notch guys and were also granted permission to speak with Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer. Fizdale was fired back in November and never really got a fair chance to pull his team out of a slow start. He'll likely get another chance as a head coach.
Apr 14 - 2:09 PM

Dillon Brooks scored a career-high 36 points on Wednesday, going 14-of-22 from the field with three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, two steals and one assist.

Brooks also went 5-of-5 from the line with just two turnovers in 33 minutes of action. He came full-circle with this performance, ending the season with a bang after making his NBA debut with an unexpected 19-point, four-steal gem back on Oct. 18. He's a player to monitor closely throughout the offseason and training camp.
Apr 12 - 2:05 AM

Ivan Rabb scored 12 points with 13 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 32 minutes during a 137-123 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday.

Sure, the Grizzlies rested a lot of guys, but credit for Rabb for having a nice finish. In his last five, he averaged 12.4 points, 8.6 boards, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 blocks. He was worthwhile for anyone who picked him up over those games, but his role will be unclear for next season. The Grizzlies won't tank in October, right? Right?!
Apr 11 - 11:52 PM

MarShon Brooks scored nine points with four rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday.

He had nowhere to go but down with his five straight 20-point games to start his season earlier the last two weeks, but this dud and a 14-point game weren't awful. The Grizzlies have a lot of guaranteed contracts for next year, so we'll see what the plans are for Brooks. It's great for him that his contract is guaranteed.
Apr 11 - 11:49 PM

Tyreke Evans (personal reasons) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game vs. OKC.

Evans has been out of action since March 24th, but the Grizzlies have not provided any details as to the reason for his absence. We may get some details in the exits interviews. Hopefully, all is well Evans and his family.
Apr 10 - 6:07 PM

Andrew Harrison (wrist, shoulder) will not suit up for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Thunder.

Harrison missed the final eight games for Memphis, and while he had a nice run towards the second half the season when Mike Conley (heel) went down, he won't have much of a role with the Grizzlies next season if they're healthy and there aren't any major roster moves. MarShon Brooks will be getting all the run he can handle on Wednesday evening, and he'll make for a solid DFS play.
Apr 10 - 6:05 PM

Marc Gasol (rest), JaMychal Green (shoulder), Andrew Harrison (wrist) and Tyreke Evans (personal) will not play Wednesday vs. the Thunder.

Mike Conley (heel), Jarell Martin (ankle), Wayne Selden (knee) and Chandler Parsons (knees) will join these guys on the sidelines on Wednesday, leaving the Grizzlies with just nine healthy players for tomorrow's game. MarShon Brooks and Dillon Brooks will lead the charge of offense with all the main guys out, and both those guys will make for attractive streamers.

JaMychal Green (knee) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game vs. OKC.

Apr 10 - 5:58 PM

Ben McLemore scored a team-high 18 points with seven rebounds and one assist in Monday's loss to the Wolves.

He was a -26 in his 42 minutes. The Grizzlies clinched the second worst record in the NBA tonight, so maybe they won't rest as many players on Wednesday. McLemore has had a few random scoring outbursts this season and has four games with 13+ points out of his last five, but for the most part, this has been another forgetful campaign for the 25-year-old wing.
Apr 9 - 10:51 PM

MarShon Brooks finally cooled off on Monday vs. the Wolves, scoring 14 points on 4-of-16 shooting.

He had to come back down to earth at some point, as Brooks was averaging 23.6 points, 3.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 3.2 triples while shooting an unsustainable 57.9% from the field in his previous five outings. He also turned the ball over five times tonight, but did hand out five assists with one board, two steals and two triples. Brooks will look to finish his season on a high note in Wednesday's season finale vs. OKC.
Apr 9 - 10:47 PM

Andrew Harrison (wrist) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. Minnesota.

The Grizzlies have just one more game after Monday, and it seems unlikely that Harrison will be getting back out there. Kobi Simmons should draw another start at the point with MarShon Brooks logging minutes in the mid-20s off the bench. Brooks makes for the more attractive target between the two.
Apr 9 - 2:10 PM

JaMychal Green (knee) will not play on Monday vs. the Wolves.

This will be his fifth straight game on the shelf and we're not expecting him back this season. With Marc Gasol resting, get ready to see a lot of Ivan Rabb and Deyonta Davis.
