ESPN Bills reporter Mike Rodak doesn't list second-year OL Cyril Richardson as a potential starting guard.

Richardson got a ton of first-team reps last summer and started four games at left guard from Weeks 4-7 as a fifth-round rookie. He was exposed, proving to be extremely penalty-prone and weak in pass protection. The Bills figure to target guard help with either their second- or third-round pick this weekend.

Bills.com’s Chris Brown believes Cyrus Kouandjio "will be given every opportunity" to remain at right tackle.

Kouandjio was active for one game (zero snaps) as a rookie. At 6'7/322, he profiles as a strong fit for OC Greg Roman's run-heavy scheme and could be a candidate to start over incumbent RT Seantrel Henderson. Depending on what the Bills do in the draft, Kouandjio may also compete at one of the guard spots.

Percy Harvin expects the Bills to use him as an all-around receiver.

Outside of a nine-game stretch with the Jets, Harvin has been limited to the slot for the majority of his career. He has a clear path to playing time in Buffalo, with only Sammy Watkins ahead of him. Harvin projects to start over Robert Woods in base sets and move inside in three-wide packages. The Bills aren’t committed to Harvin beyond this year and could add a receiver on Day 2 of the draft.
Apr 18 - 4:44 PM

Bills.com’s Chris Brown considers LT Cordy Glenn a candidate for extension.

Glenn allowed a career-high eight sacks in 2014, but has been one of the better pass-blocking left tackles the last two seasons. The Bills aren’t letting Glenn reach the open market, but re-signing him could prove difficult with DT Marcell Dareus and LB Nigel Bradham also in their final season. 25-year-old Glenn will command a deal in excess of Jared Veldheer's five-year, $35 million contract.
Apr 18 - 4:09 PM

Bills coach Rex Ryan views Corey Graham as an outside corner.

The Bills are moving to a press-man scheme on Ryan's watch. Graham graded as a top-ten cover corner by PFF last year, but played mostly zone under ex-DC Jim Schwartz. At 6’0/190, Graham has the size to hold up at the line of scrimmage. Graham has the inside track over Leodis McKelvin to start opposite RCB Stephon Gilmore.
Apr 18 - 3:37 PM

The Bills are interested in extending contract-year LB Nigel Bradham.

Bradham is coming off a career year, recording 104 tackles, 2.5 sacks and three turnovers despite missing two games. The Bills want to keep Bradham, but are unlikely to extend him until Marcell Dareus gets a new deal. After playing the strong side under Jim Schwartz, Bradham is expected to move inside in Rex Ryan’s 3-4 scheme.
Apr 17 - 8:03 PM

Bills.com’s Chris Brown expects S Duke Williams to "make a big jump" in 2015.

Williams is in line for increased snaps with Da’Norris Searcy no longer in Buffalo. He graded out positively against the run in a part-time role last year, but has been a liability in coverage to this point. The Bills haven't added any depth to their secondary this offseason, leaving Williams as the clear favorite to start. Corey Graham should also see time at safety in sub packages.
Apr 17 - 7:46 PM

Fred Jackson acknowledged the Bills intend to utilize LeSean McCoy as a "bellcow," but promises to "not make it easy for him."

"They want him to take the majority of the load," F-Jax conceded. "But I’m not going to make it easy for him. I’m not going to just hand it to him and say, ‘Here’s the job.’" The Bills invested Kiko Alonso and a big contract in Shady, so he'll be given every opportunity to soak up touches. We wouldn't rule out Jackson stealing some passing-down and goal-line work, however. "I’m going to push him," Jackson promised. "Every time I get a chance to touch the ball, I’m going to make every play that I can when I’m out there."
Apr 15 - 10:35 PM

Coach Rex Ryan confirmed Sammy Watkins (hip) will be "full-go" for training camp.

Watkins is expected to be limited during OTAs after undergoing February hip surgery. His status for the start of camp was never in doubt. Despite dealing with multiple injuries, Watkins started all 16 games as a rookie.
Apr 15 - 5:39 PM

WGR 550 Buffalo expects contract-year DT Marcell Dareus to command in excess of $50 million guaranteed.

Dareus is expected to top Bucs DT Gerald McCoy's seven-year, $95.2 million deal. The Bills are convinced Dareus has put his off-field issues behind him and could extend him after the draft. A two-time Pro Bowler, Dareus has 28.5 sacks through four seasons.
Apr 11 - 7:05 PM

WGR 550 Buffalo considers Robert Woods a candidate for a reduced role.

Woods had 104 targets as Buffalo's No. 2 receiver last year. With the additions of Percy Harvin and TE Charles Clay, he's expected to take a step back in OC Greg Roman's run-heavy scheme. Woods projects no higher than the No. 4 option.
Apr 10 - 6:18 PM

WKBW Buffalo's Joe Buscaglia gives E.J. Manuel just a 30 percent chance of winning the Bills' starting quarterback job.

He sets Matt Cassel as the favorite (55 percent) and Tyrod Taylor a distant third (14.5 percent). Coach Rex Ryan has promised an open training-camp battle, but the Bills' offseason moves point to Cassel opening the year as the starter on a team that will attempt to pound the rock and play elite defense. Cassel was a Pro Bowler on a 2010 Chiefs team that utilized the same formula.
Apr 10 - 1:34 PM

Bills LT Cordy Glenn was singled out as the player who was most impressive at voluntary workouts this past week.

"I thought he did a great job," said the Bills' strength coach. "He came back in great shape and looks excellent. He’s really worked hard." Glenn missed much of last summer with an unknown illness but started all 16 games for the second year in a row. He received positive marks as a pass blocker from PFF. Entering the final year of his contract, 25-year-old Glenn is a candidate for an extension.
Apr 10 - 11:42 AM

Bills K Dan Carpenter is recovering from surgery.

Carpenter is sitting out the beginning of the Bills' offseason program. It's unknown what kind of operation Carpenter is recovering from, but coach Rex Ryan didn't sound concerned about his status. He should be healthy for training camp.
Apr 6 - 3:05 PM

Fred Jackson is recovering from an unknown surgical procedure.

F-Jax is sitting out the beginning of the Bills' offseason program. Coach Rex Ryan didn't offer any other details, but it's almost certainly just some sort of clean-up operation. Ryan didn't sound concerned. Jackson dealt with lingering groin issues last season. We'd imagine Jackson will be ready for June's mandatory minicamp.
