Leonard Fournette (quad) did not practice Thursday.

Fournette also sat out Wednesday's practice, raising real concerns about his availability for Sunday against the Texans. His participation during Friday's session should tell the story. Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon will split reps if Fournette cannot play.
Dec 14 - 12:14 PM

Jaguars WLB Telvin Smith has cleared the league's concussion protocol.

Smith missed the last two games after a setback. He should be ready to return this Sunday against Houston. The Texans' implied team total of 14 points is the lowest of Week 15. Continue to ride the Jaguars' D/ST.
Dec 13 - 10:54 AM

Allen Hurns (ankle) remains sidelined at practice Wednesday.

Hurns has been out since Week 10. In his absence, Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole have emerged as solid second and third wideouts behind Marqise Lee.
Dec 13 - 10:51 AM

Leonard Fournette (quad) will not practice Wednesday.

The quad thing is a new issue for Fournette, who never seems to be 100% healthy. The rookie rebounded last week with 101 yards and a score in a home win over the Seahawks, but he'd been struggling a bit the previous month. Fournette is fighting through small nicks and bruises and ultimately should play Sunday against Houston, though it's obviously something to monitor moving forward. Remember when Fournette said the NFL was easier than college?
Dec 13 - 10:40 AM

Keelan Cole caught all three of his targets for 99 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Seahawks.

Cole reeled in a 75-yard touchdown on a beautiful catch and throw from Blake Bortles to give the Jaguars a 17-10 lead in the third quarter. It was the second time in as many weeks that Cole has scored. While those scores are nice, Cole hasn't had more than three catches in any of the five games since Allen Hurns was injured and Hurns is nearing a return to the lineup. Cole is a WR5 heading into a matchup with the Texans.
Dec 10 - 9:20 PM

Dede Westbrook caught 5-of-8 targets for 81 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Seahawks.

Westbrook's first NFL touchdown came on an 18-yard corner route to the right side of the field in which he split zone coverage. His eight targets led the team, the second time in three weeks that Westbrook has led the team in target opportunity. Westbrook's receiving yardage has now risen in each of his four games since being activated in Week 11 and he's had at least five receptions in each of his past three games. Westbrook will be on the table as a startable option in Week 15 against a Texans defense that has struggled to cover opposing wideouts on the season.
Dec 10 - 9:15 PM

Marqise Lee caught 5-of-6 targets for 65 yards in Sunday's Week 14 victory over the Seahawks.

Lee has turned into a solid floor play for fantasy as he has now had five or more catches in six of his past eight games. After catching a career-high 63 passes a year ago, Lee is already at 56 receptions with three games remaining on the season. With a Week 15 meeting with the Texans, Lee will be a solid WR3 option for fantasy owners.
Dec 10 - 9:10 PM

Leonard Fournette rushed 24 times for 101 yards and a touchdown while adding 18 yards receiving on four catches in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Seahawks.

After rushing for 57 yards or fewer in three of his four games since returning from injury, Fournette's game against a tough rush defense was a welcome sight. Fournette did a lot of his damage after both Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright were lost for the game, but he picked up steam as the game wore on. He rushed for 45 yards in the third quarter and 39 yards in the fourth quarter after posting just 17 yards on the ground in the first half on five carries. Fournette's eighth rushing touchdown on the season came in the third quarter after a punt return down to the Seattle 1-yard line. A touch-machine as long as the Jaguars are playing with positive game script, Fournette will be set up to stack touches again next weekend at home against the Texans, whom he notched 124 yards from scrimmage against back in Week 1 when they were a much tougher defense.
Dec 10 - 9:03 PM

Blake Bortles completed 18-of-27 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Seahawks.

Bortles did his damage in the third quarter where he completed all four of his passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns. The first score was an 18-yard corner route to Dede Westbrook that put the Jaguars up 10-0. He then followed that up with an on-target rainbow to Keelan Cole for a 75-yard touchdown for his second touchdown of the quarter. After that, Bortles was only asked to protect the lead, throwing just six passes the rest of the way. Bortles has made himself a solid starting fantasy option, posting 16 or more points in six of his past seven games with three straight QB1 scoring weeks. With Houston and San Francisco left on his fantasy playoff schedule over the next two weeks, Bortles is set up for a strong finish to the fantasy season.
Dec 10 - 8:54 PM

Jaguars declared WLB Telvin Smith (concussion) inactive for Sunday's Week 14 game versus the Seahawks.

After missing Week 13, Smith practiced in full to start the week, but had a setback that forced him to miss practice Friday. His absence is big loss not only for defending Jimmy Graham, but also for limiting Russell Wilson's scrambling ability as the mobile quarterbacks the Jaguars have already faced this season have had success tacking on rushing production. Blair Brown will start in place of Smith.WR Allen Hurns, OT Will Poehls, G Josh Walker, DT Eli Ankou, CB Jalen Myrick and G Chris Reed are also inactive for Sunday's game.
Dec 10 - 2:57 PM

Jaguars WLB Telvin Smith (concussion) is not expected to play Week 14 against the Seahawks.

Smith returned to a full practice Wednesday, but he apparently suffered a setback during the week and did not practice at all Friday. It is an upgrade for Jimmy Graham.

Dec 10 - 8:50 AM

Jalen Ramsey (ankle, questionable) is expected to play Week 14 against the Seahawks.

Ramsey sat out both Wednesday and Thursday, but he is still going to give it a go in a potentially statement-making game for the Jaguars. The talented corner being active is a downgrade for Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin.

Dec 10 - 8:46 AM

Marqise Lee (knee) wasn't listed on the Jaguars' final injury report for Week 14 against the Seahawks.

Lee's been dealing with a knee injury for the better part of two months but hasn't missed any games. He's scored in three of his past five outings and will try to make it four out of six Sunday against the Seahawks. Lee will be a WR3 for that matchup.

Dec 8 - 3:39 PM

Allen Hurns (ankle) is out for Week 14 against the Seahawks.

Hurns remains week-to-week with a sprained ankle. Marqise Lee, Keelan Cole and Dede Westbrook will be the Jags' top three receivers against the Seahawks.

Dec 8 - 3:38 PM

Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey (ankle) is questionable for Week 14 against the Seahawks.

Ramsey missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. In a light Friday practice, he likely didn't do much. For now, we'll expect Ramsey to suit up, but it's a situation to monitor for Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin owners.
