Jaguars signed K Josh Lambo.

Lambo will be replacing Jason Myers, who missed two kicks including a crucial late attempt against the Rams. Lambo connected on just over 81 percent of his kicks in two years with the Chargers, although he missed all three of his attempts from 50-plus last year. With the Colts next up on the schedule, Lambo is immediately on the streaming map.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms Leonard Fournette (ankle) is expected to play against the Colts in Week 7.

Fournette twisted his ankle against the Rams in Week 6 but neither he nor Jaguars coach Doug Marrone seem overly concerned about it. The fourth overall pick will likely be limited at practice this week, but should be ready to roll Sunday in Indianapolis. Fournette has scored a touchdown in all six games to start his career and ranks second in the league in rushing yards per game behind only Kansas City's Kareem Hunt.
Oct 16 - 9:37 AM

Leonard Fournette downplayed the severity of his ankle injury.

Fournette went down late in Sunday's loss to the Rams and was sidelined for the remainder of the game, though coach Doug Marrone said he could have gone back in had the Jaguars needed him. They were in their hurry-up offense at the time and using Chris Ivory, who is more equipped for passing-down work. "I just twisted my ankle a little bit, that’s all," said Fournette after the game. Rather than go to the locker room after his injury, Fournette simply had his ankle re-taped on the sideline. Fournette's availability for Sunday's game in Indianapolis will be a storyline to watch this week.
Oct 16 - 8:20 AM

Chris Ivory caught 9-of-10 targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss to the Rams.

Stunningly, Ivory tied for the team lead in targets, and more than doubled his season receptions total. Ivory entered Week 6 with 80 career catches. His touchdown was a 22-yarder on a screen. Ivory caught the pass in a whole mess of traffic before somehow getting loose down the right sideline for the score. It was impressive on his part. Ivory is seeing plenty of work behind Leonard Fournette, but it isn't translating to standalone value in fantasy leagues.
Oct 15 - 7:42 PM

Allen Hurns caught 3-of-3 targets for 37 yards in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss to the Rams.

The Jaguars' passing "attack" was in a coma with Blake Bortles struggling to make a single accurate pass that wasn't a dump off to Chris Ivory. Hurns has now eclipsed 42 yards one time in six games. He offers close to zero upside as a WR4.
Oct 15 - 7:40 PM

Marqise Lee caught 5-of-10 targets for 83 yards in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss to the Rams.

The yardage was a new season high for Lee after he combined for 4/67 in Weeks 4 and 5. Truth be told, this is about Lee's absolute ceiling with Blake Bortles playing the way he is. The Colts aren't a stay-away matchup for Week 4, but Lee will be merely a WR4.
Oct 15 - 7:34 PM

Blake Bortles completed 23-of-35 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Jaguars' 27-17, Week 6 loss to the Rams.

Bortles was worse than the stats would indicate, uncorking more off-target passes than accurate ones. He gave the Jags little chance to win. His interception clanged off Marcedes Lewis' hands after Bortles led him too far. His touchdown was a screen where Chris Ivory did almost all the work. Bortles hasn't been close to good enough to deserve to keep his starting job, but Chad Henne wouldn't really improve the Jaguars' performance under center. The Colts are on tap for Week 7.
Oct 15 - 7:30 PM

Leonard Fournette rushed 21 times for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss to the Rams.

Fournette's day literally couldn't have started any better, as he scored a 75-yard touchdown on the Jags' first play from scrimmage. Fournette made one cut through a big hole and was off to the races. He blew by the Rams' defensive backs, showing rare speed for a running back. It was tougher sledding after that, and there was a scary moment late in the fourth quarter. Fournette's right ankle somehow went out in non-contact fashion. He was briefly in agony before heading to the sideline where he seemed to jog it out. The Jags announced he would return, but he was absent for comeback mode on the final drive. Fournette seems to have dodged a bullet, but it's too early to say for sure.
Oct 15 - 7:11 PM

Jaguars declared RB T.J. Yeldon, WR Jaelen Strong, C Brandon Linder, OL William Poehls, CB Jalen Myrick, LB Donald Payne and OL Josh Walker inactive for Week 6 against the Rams.

Once again a healthy scratch, Yeldon's Dynasty league value is on thin ice.
Oct 15 - 2:36 PM

Jaguars C Brandon Linder (illness) is out for Week 6 against the Rams.

This will be Linder's second missed game in a row due to illness. Tyler Shatley will get the start in his place.
Oct 14 - 10:42 AM

Marqise Lee (ribs) wasn't listed on the Jaguars' final injury report for Week 6 against the Rams.

Lee was limited by a rib injury Thursday but returned to a full practice on Friday. Jacksonville has gone to great lengths to hide Blake Bortles this year, which has rendered Lee a non-factor. At this point, Leonard Fournette is the only Jaguar worth pursuing in fantasy.

Leonard Fournette (ankle, shoulder) remained "limited" in Thursday's practice.

Listed with his ankle on Wednesday, Fournette was listed with both his shoulder and ankle on Thursday. There's been no indication either issue is serious. Fournette is an elite option for Week 6 against the Rams.
Oct 12 - 7:38 PM

Marqise Lee (ribs) was downgraded to a limited practice on Thursday.

It's unclear if Lee suffered a setback or if the Jags are simply managing his reps. Lee will take a six-game touchdown drought into Sunday's game against the Rams.

Oct 12 - 3:14 PM

Jaguars C Brandon Linder (illness) will not practice Thursday.

The missed practice is concerning after Linder was forced to miss Week 5 and Wednesday's session because of the illness, the nature of with the Jaguars are not disclosing. It looks like he is trending toward sitting again this week.
Oct 12 - 11:43 AM

Jaguars WLB Telvin Smith was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 5.

Smith played a big part in the road win over the Steelers, picking off Ben Roethlisberger in the third quarter with Jacksonville trailing by two and returning it for a touchdown. He also dominated in the run game, as Pro Football Focus credited Smith with four stops. Smith is currently PFF's No. 2-ranked 4-3 outside linebacker. In the final year of his deal, Smith is in line for a big extension.
