Oscar Dansk could be in line for his first NHL start Tuesday against Chicago.

Vegas has their top two goaltenders, Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) and Malcolm Subban (lower body) out due to injuries. "Injuries provide opportunities for others and that is the situation we have here," said GM George McPhee. "Our top two goaltenders are currently sidelined so we will now give our AHL goalies the chance to play in their absence. We felt Oscar Dansk performed well in relief on Saturday in his NHL debut." The Golden Knights will probably bring up Maxime Lagace to serve as the backup.
Oct 22 - 6:52 PM

Malcolm Subban is expected to be sidelined for about four weeks with a lower-body injury.

Vegas doesn't have number one goalie Marc-Andre Fleury because of a concussion and now Subban is out for an extended period as well. They are both on injured reserve. Subban has a 2-0 record with a 2.06 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage in three appearances with the Golden Knights.

Erik Haula skated on Saturday for the first time since suffering a lower body injury a week ago.

Haula is questionable for Tuesday after skating for 25 minutes before the start of practice. He has a goal and an assist in four games this season.
Oct 22 - 10:22 AM

Jonathan Marchessault (lower body) practiced with the Golden Knights for the second straight day Saturday.

Marchessault could be activated in time for Tuesday's contest. He has a goal in four games this season after a 30 goal performance last season with Florida. Twenty-to-25 goals may be more in line this season for the forward.
Oct 22 - 10:18 AM

William Karlsson scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 overtime win against the St. Louis Blues.

Reilly Smith slid the puck across the slot and found William Karlsson who buried the one-timer passed Jake Allen to win it for Vegas. The goal was Karlsson's first of the season and his third point in seven games this season. He should not be owned in any formats.
Oct 22 - 1:33 AM

Oscar Dansk was forced into action after Malcolm Subban had to leave the game with a suspected lower-body injury in a 3-2 overtime win against the St. Louis Blues.

Dansk is a former 2nd round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets but hasn't been able to establish himself at the NHL level. Tonight marked his first ever NHL appearance, allowing one goal on 11 shots. If the Golden Knights were to be without both Fleury and Subban for an extended period, Dansk would be thrust into the starting lineup. He is not worth picking up in any formats.
Oct 22 - 1:30 AM

Malcolm Subban was forced to leave Vegas' game against the St. Louis Blues after suffering what appeared to be a lower-body injury during the third period.

Subban appeared to hurt himself after stretching out to make a save on Jaden Schwartz. With Fleury suffering from a concussion, losing Subban would be a tough blow to the Golden Knights. Oscar Dansk came into the game and made his first career NHL appearance. Subban impressively stopped 37 of 38 shots before being forced to leave the game.
Oct 22 - 1:15 AM

Malcolm Subban will get the start for the Vegas Golden Knights against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night.

The netminder last played Tuesday, making 30 saves in a 5-4 victory over the Buffalo Sabres. He'll get another crack in goal for the Knights with Marc-Andre Fleury on injured reserve. Subban has a 2-0-0 record with a 2.42 goals-against-average this season.
Oct 21 - 10:19 PM

Jason Garrison was named a healthy scratch for the Vegas Golden Knights ahead of their game against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.

Garrison only has one point in four games for the Golden Knights. The defenseman will sit out tonight's contest along with Griffin Reinhart and Jon Merrill.

Vegas Golden Knights head coach Gerard Gallant has announced that Brayden McNabb will return to the lineup tonight.

After starting the opening four games of the season, McNabb was scratched for the last two games. He's known more for his work in his own end rather than in the offensive end. Still no word on who will be sacrificed in the lineup to make room for him.
Oct 21 - 2:52 PM

Erik Haula (lower body) may get back on the ice Saturday.

"He's doing much better," coach Gerard Gallant said. Haula hasn't played since Oct. 13 because of a lower-body injury.
Oct 21 - 11:21 AM

Jonathan Marchessault (lower body) took part in Friday's practice.

Marchessault was wearing a non-contact jersey though, so his return probably isn't imminent. He has a goal in four games this season. He's been sidelined for the Golden Knights' last two contests.
Oct 20 - 3:50 PM

The Golden Knights have assigned Maxime Lagace back to the minors.

Lagace had been serving as the backup goalie to Malcolm Subban since Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) has been out. Lagace didn't make an appearance during his time with the big club.
Oct 19 - 8:53 PM

The Vegas Golden Knights recalled Oscar Dansk from the AHL.

The 23-year-old has made just one start in the AHL this season. He gave up six goals during that lone appearance. In a corresponding move, Vegas sent goalie Maxim Lagace back to the minors.
Oct 19 - 8:51 PM

Coach Gerard Gallant doesn't know the status of Marc Andre-Fleury, as he recovers from a concussion.

Fleury is being re-evaluated every day, but Gallant avoids contact with injured players as much as he can to avoid putting pressure on them to return before they are ready. "When they're hurt, they're hurt. They see our doctors, they see our trainers," Gallant said. "I don't want to talk to them because sometimes coaches, you know, 'We need you back here.' So I stay away."
