The Bulls are reportedly "still intrigued" by Jahlil Okafor's talent, but are hesitant to "give up anything of significance" to acquire him.

According to Bulls writer Carlos Douglas Jr., the team "might just wait until the summer of 2018 to pursue him" in free agency. The Suns were also linked to Okafor in early November, but first they'd need to buy out or trade Greg Monroe. Atlanta and New York have also been rumored as possible landing spots, but there's no clear traction in any of these scenarios.

The Suns are reportedly interested in Jahlil Okafor.

The Suns are looking to open a roster spot by moving or buying out Greg Monroe, and they'd reportedly like to fill that hole with Okafor. However, if they aren't able to move Tyson Chandler or Alex Len prior to acquiring Okafor, he wouldn't really be in a much better situation in Phoenix than the one he's currently in in Philadelphia. The Bulls and Hawks are also rumored to be interested in Okafor, and they'd be a much better spot for him in terms of fantasy hoops.

The Bulls and the Hawks are reportedly the most likely landing spots for Jahlil Okafor.

These are some of the few teams that would make sense for Okafor, but thus far, they haven't come forth with an enticing offer for Philly, as the 76ers would like to secure a draft pick in any deal sending away the former No. 3 overall selection. Phoenix and New York have also been rumored to have interest in Okafor, but those teams are already loaded in their frontcourt and it's tough to see a deal going through where the numbers would work.

The Hawks will no longer pursue unrestricted free agent Marreese Speights.

Speights' camp was in talks with Atlanta over the past week, but neither side was able to come to terms on a deal. Speights is hoping that he can see a rise from last year's salary of $1.4 million, but at this point, there aren't a ton of teams out there with cap space who are also in need of a reserve big man. Thus far, the Clippers have been the only other team to express interest in Speights.
Jul 16 - 3:45 PM

The Hawks have reportedly shown interest in restricted free agent Nerlens Noel.

The Mavs will be able to match any offer Noel receives on the open market, and they've stated on numerous occasions that retaining Noel will be a priority, so an opposing team might need to float him a max offer in order to steal him away from Dallas.
Jul 5 - 12:40 PM

The Wizards are reportedly looking to execute a sign-and-trade deal involving Bojan Bogdanovic.

Washington will likely be matching Brooklyn's max-offer sheet for Otto Porter, so they just can't realistically retain Bogdanovic given that he's seeking a deal that would start at $16 million annually. The Wizards are reportedly seeking a traded player exception in the sign-and-trade deal, so it'll be interesting to see how this situation plays out. Thus far, the Kings, Nuggets and Hawks have all been linked to Bogdanovic.
Jul 5 - 11:15 AM

Paul Millsap and the Nuggets have agreed to a three-year, $90 million deal, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

The Suns and Wolves withdrew from the chase over the past few days, and Millsap's new pairing with Nikola Jokic creates a fascinating frontcourt. From a fantasy perspective, Millsap should benefit from Jokic's passing and the fluid-passing attack in Denver, allowing him to bounce back from a sub-par 2016-17 fantasy campaign. The Hawks' frontcourt, meanwhile, is in disarray, with Miles Plumlee and rookie John Collins as their only true big men. The biggest-name free agents are signing quickly and there's been a lot of movement over the past 48 hours, so we should see dominoes fall in rapid succession as we approach July 4th.
Jul 2 - 11:04 PM

Restricted free agent Bojan Bogdanovic is receiving "serious interest" from the Kings, Nuggets, Hawks, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.

Before we get to the details on this, we have to say we're rooting for the Kings to get him so Bojan Bogdanovic and Bogdan Bogdanovic can be on the same team -- they are not related, by the way. Bogie is a restricted free agent, but it could be tough for the Wizards to bring him back, assuming they are in fact going to match on Otto Porter.
Jul 1 - 6:00 PM

Derrick White will work out for the Hawks on Wednesday.

The combo guard put in averages of 18.3 points, 4.1 boards, 4.3 assists, 1.7 triples, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game during his senior season at Colorado, and while he isn't necessarily one of the most athletic prospects in this upcoming draft, he has a high basketball IQ and is excellent moving off the ball. He's projected to go somewhere in the 30s on draft day, so he could be an option for Atlanta when they come on the board with their No. 31 overall selection.
Jun 14 - 12:49 PM

The Hawks have interest in Jose Calderon.

Calderon is going to be waived by the Warriors and he should be eligible to be on a playoff roster. The Hawks have rolled with just two point guards all season, but Malcolm Delaney being a letdown in his two starts last week may have prompted a move. Calderon can stay on the wire.
Mar 1 - 4:59 PM

Tiago Splitter will reportedly be dealt to the 76ers as part of a package for Ersan Ilyasova.

The Sixers have three centers on their roster, with Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel already mentioned in trade talks, and Splitter has yet to play this season due to injuries. His contract is expiring and this is entirely about the salary cap, draft picks, and clearing room for Dario Saric. Saric was already trending up and he's simply must-own as the obvious starting PF with Ilyasova out of town.
Feb 22 - 7:32 PM

The Suns have reportedly received inquiries regarding the availability of P.J. Tucker from the Raptors, Celtics, Wizards, Clippers, Hawks and Jazz.

Tucker is very likely to be moved at the deadline, and in terms of fantasy value, Los Angeles and Atlanta look like the best potential destinations as he would assuredly lose value with any of the other aforementioned teams. T.J. Warren could see a nice boost in value if the Suns don't bring back another wing, so he's someone to consider stashing away ahead of the trade deadline.
Feb 21 - 3:06 PM

The Hawks have interest in signing Lamar Patterson to a 10-day deal.

It makes a lot of sense after coach Mike Budenholzer gave Patterson some clutch minutes in two different games last year. Patterson has been lighting up the D-League with a 41-point explosion this week, so the Hawks may give him a whirl to check out his growth as a scorer. If so, Gary Neal would likely not be brought back.
Jan 27 - 4:04 PM

The Hawks worked out Gary Neal and are "strongly leaning" to sign him on a 10-day deal, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Hawks didn't get anything out of their rookies on Friday, so maybe that's the motivation here. Fantasy owners can wait on adding Neal in almost all cases.
Jan 14 - 8:20 PM

Tony Parker scored a season-high 22 points vs. the Hawks on Sunday, going 10-of-18 from the field and 1-of-2 from the line in 32 minutes of action.

Parker added six assists, three rebounds and just one turnover. He's been great after getting a DNP-CD last Friday, averaging 18.3 points and 5.3 assists in the four games since. Tonight was his first game with 30+ minutes since Nov. 1, however, and the Hawks have been shredded by opposing PGs lately, so take this with a grain of salt.
