Brandon Montour has been returned to AHL San Diego on Saturday.

He has two points in 12 games with the Ducks this season. He also has 12 goals and 30 points and 32 PIMs in 24 games for the Gulls.

Adin Hill was returned to AHL Tuscon on Saturday.

After serving as Louis Domingue's backup last night, Hill will return to the minors with a head full of memories for sure. The 20-year-old netminder has posted a 13-8 record with a .916 save percentage along with a 2.84 GAA.

Zemgus Girgensons (middle body) will make his return to the Sabres lineup on Saturday night.

He'll suit up against the Colorado Avalanche after missing his team's last seven games. Thankfully, the Sabres bye came at the perfect time. "It definitely fell in a good place for me," Girgensons said of the bye. "Just to get a couple more days to heal it completely and get a good skate today, so I'll be 100 percent to go (on Saturday)." Girgensons will skate on a line with Brian Gionta and Marcus Foligno. He has six goals and seven assists in 53 games this season.

The Blackhawks assigned Jeff Glass to AHL Rockford on Saturday after clearing waivers.

The 31-year-old netminder has already played a dozen games in the AHL this season. Two with Toronto with a 1-1 record and four goals against. And another 10 with the IceHogs, in which he's 5-4 in 10 games with two shutouts, a .917 save percentage and a 2.38 GAA. He had spent the previous seven seasons in the KHL.

Erik Johnson says he's "ready to go" against the Sabres on Saturday night.

Johnson broke his fibula back on Dec. 3rd and he hasn't played since, but that's about to change. "We’ll ease him back into it a little bit," head coach Jared Bednar said. "He’ll determine that by how he’s feeling, and we’ll see what kind of game shape he’s in. He’s been working real hard off the ice and always keeps himself in good condition, but playing in games and having guys lean on you constantly is a different animal. . . We’ll probably start him out with just five-on-five minutes to start in the regular rotation and see how all that goes."

Remi Elie was summoned up by Dallas on Saturday.

The 21-year-old winger has posted 14 goals and 42 points in two seasons with AHL Texas. He has yet to make his NHL debut however.

The Kings have activated Jonathan Quick from injured reserve.

He's seen just one game of action this season, NHL or otherwise. Normally it'd be surprising to see him go straight into action, but both Dean Lombardi and Darryl Sutter to expect as much. We'll keep you posted on if he'll make his debut tonight against the Ducks.

Jeff Zatkoff was sent to AHL Ontario on Saturday following Jonathan Quick's activation from injured reserve.

The 29-year-old has seen 14 games with the Reign this season, posting a 4-7-1 record with a .917 save percentage and a 2.79 GAA. Which are by far better than his NHL marks this season through 13 games.

Jordan Nolan has been activated by the Kings from injured reserve.

Nolan has recorded four goals and eight points along with 44 PIMs and 55 hits in 41 games this season. He hasn't played since Feb. 1 due to a lower-body injury, but he is ready to return on Saturday against Anaheim.

The Ottawa Senators have recalled Mike Blunden from the AHL.

The 30-year-old has only suited up in one game with the Sens this season. He has 12 goals and 10 assists in 47 games with AHL Binghamton. He brings no fantasy upside to the table.

The Ottawa Senators have assigned Max McCormick to AHL Binghamton.

McCormick has no points and a minus-3 rating in seven NHL games this season. He isn't worth stashing in any fantasy leagues.

The Ottawa Senators recalled Phil Varone from the AHL on Saturday.

Varone has skated in four games with the Sens this season, but he hasn't registered any points. He has 38 points in 48 games with AHL Binghamton.

The Ottawa Senators have assigned Casey Bailey to the minors.

Bailey played in each of Ottawa's last two contests, but he didn't really stand out for any particular reason. He has no points and a minus-1 rating in seven games this season.

Jordan Subban was recalled by Vancouver on Saturday.

The 21-year-old and youngest of the three Subban brothers, has posted 13 goals and 29 points in 46 games this season with AHL Utica. He has yet to make his NHL debut, but that may be about to change.

Joseph Labate has been summoned up to Vancouver on Saturday.

He has no points through three games in the bigs. The 23-year-old however, does have 12 goals and 29 points in 91 career games with AHL Utica.
