Welcome back to the Saturday edition of FanDuel MLB Plays - let’s dive into our top targets for today. As always, make sure to check out RotoGrinders' DFS Alerts for any late-breaking news before finalizing your lineups.

Pitchers

Madison Bumgarner - San Francisco Giants- $9,900 - On the surface, a trip into Chase Field to face the Diamondbacks looks quite daunting and I'm hoping that suppresses Mr. Bumgarner's ownership levels this evening. Bumgarner was a tough-luck loser in his last outing, but after allowing just one run over six innings against Philadelphia, he now owns a 2.87 ERA and 1.06 WHIP after 12 starts. Bumgarner has pitched very well in each of his two prior meetings with Arizona this season; allowing just five runs over 14 innings while also racking up 18 strikeouts. The Diamondbacks have struggled their way to a .299 team wOBA and 25.5% strikeout rate against left-handed pitching this season and Bummy happens to be the only true "Ace" on the bump today.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. LHP in 2017: 0.299 wOBA: 0.164 ISO: 0.255 K%: 76 wRC+

Luis Castillo - Cincinnati Reds- $7,300 - Like most young pitchers, Luis Castillo has been inconsistent in his rookie season, but the future looks bright for the 24-year-old. Castillo will take the Great American Ballpark mound tonight owning a very impressive 3.45 ERA and 1.19 WHIP through 70.1 innings of work. His 3.87 xFIP suggests his success is quite sustainable and his 25.5% strikeout rate is a fantasy asset. His 12.1% SwStr% highlights just how overpowering his "stuff" can be and tonight's matchup is an appealing one as the Pittsburgh Pirates an ugly 3.08 team wOBA since the All-Star break. At this very reasonable price-tag, his upside out-weighs his risk.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. RHP in 2017: 0.308 wOBA: 0.142 ISO: 0.185 K%: 88 wRC+

Others:

Gio Gonzalez - $9,500, Cole Hamels - $8,800, Sonny Gray - $8,800, Kyle Hendricks - $8,000, Brad Peacock - $8,500

Catchers

Yasmani Grandal - Los Angeles Dodgers - $3,600 - With a single in last night's game, Grandal pushed his hitting streak to eight games. The Dodgers catcher has launched three home runs over the last seven days and now owns a very solid .837 OPS since the All-Star break. He's posted a .349 wOBA and .249 ISO against right-handed pitching this season and figures to land right in the heart of Dave Robert's lineup this evening. With left-handed batters owning a .338 wOBA off Zach Davies this season, Grandal should find plenty of opportunities for damage.

2017 vs. RHP: 0.349 wOBA, 0.249 ISO, 118 wRC+

Others:

Gary Sanchez - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.382 wOBA, 0.262 ISO, 140 wRC+

Buster Posey - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.344 wOBA, 0.116 ISO, 114 wRC+

Robinson Chirinos - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.419 wOBA, 0.264 ISO, 161 wRC+

Jonathan Lucroy - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.271 wOBA, 0.103 ISO, 58 wRC+

First Base

Lucas Duda - Tampa Bay Rays - $3,200 - Duda has been borderline terrible at the plate lately, but he should be very eager to step into the batter's box opposite Mike Leake this evening at Busch Stadium. After a tremendous start to the season, things have turned ugly for Leake as he's posted a horrendous 1-6 record to go along with a 7.25 ERA and 2.02 WHIP in nine starts since the beginning of July. Despite his recent struggles, Duda still owns a solid .372 wOBA against right-handed pitching this season and he's absolutely owned Leake in their previous meetings; going 7 for 9 with two doubles and a pair of home runs.

2017 vs. RHP: 0.372 wOBA, 0.288 ISO, 133 wRC+

Others:

Anthony Rizzo - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.372 wOBA, 0.231 ISO, 128 wRC+

Justin Smoak - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.362 wOBA, 0.277 ISO, 125 wRC+

Joey Votto - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.437 wOBA, 0.276 ISO, 168 wRC+

Rhys Hoskins - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.44 wOBA, 0.371 ISO, 173 wRC+

Second Base

Daniel Murphy - Washington Nationals - $3,200 - Daniel Murphy has cooled off at the dish lately, but the left-hander is still in the midst of a fantastic season in our Nation's Capital. He'll dig into the batter's box owning a .916 OPS with 20 home runs and 81 RBI's through 441 at bats and has a fine matchup awaiting him against the very hittable Robert Gsellman. Murphy owns an impressive .382 wOBA and .237 ISO against right-handed pitching this season and has had Gsellman's number in their brief history; going 5 for 8 with a triple off the right-hander. This is about as cheap as he's been all season, so enjoy the discount before he heats back up as October approaches.

2017 vs. RHP: 0.382 wOBA, 0.237 ISO, 133 wRC+

Others:

Jose Altuve - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.407 wOBA, 0.229 ISO, 160 wRC+

Jonathan Schoop - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.394 wOBA, 0.3 ISO, 146 wRC+

Ian Kinsler - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.367 wOBA, 0.25 ISO, 129 wRC+

Robinson Cano - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.364 wOBA, 0.215 ISO, 132 wRC+

Shortstop

Francisco Lindor - Cleveland Indians - $3,900 - As usual, the pickings at the shortstop are rarely thin today. However, Francisco Lindor has been swinging a white-hot bat down the stretch and can still be found under $4K. Lindor blasted his 23rd home run of the season in last night's series opening win against Kansas City and now owns a .345 average with four home runs over the last seven days. The Indians leadoff man also swiped a bag in last night's game (10 on the season) and has been far more productive at Progressive Field where he's posted an .868 OPS.

2017 vs. RHP: 0.318 wOBA, 0.208 ISO, 95 wRC+

Others:

Corey Seager - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.367 wOBA, 0.18 ISO, 129 wRC+

Elvis Andrus - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.319 wOBA, 0.196 ISO, 93 wRC+

Tim Beckham - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.357 wOBA, 0.167 ISO, 125 wRC+

Paul DeJong - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.385 wOBA, 0.305 ISO, 137 wRC+

Third Base

Adrian Beltre - Texas Rangers - $4,100 - Still somehow often overlooked to some degree, Adrian Beltre remains one of the most consistent hitters on the planet. The future Hall of Famer has posted a .333 average and .966 OPS since the All-Star break and continues to absolutely mash left-handed pitching (.478 wOBA and .291 ISO in 2016). Today he'll square off against Sean Manaea, who has surrendered an unsightly 38.7% hard-hit rate to right-handed batters and has limped his way to a 6.96 ERA and 1.80 WHIP in seven starts since the All-Star break.

2017 vs. LHP: 0.478 wOBA, 0.291 ISO, 202 wRC+

Others:

Nolan Arenado - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.521 wOBA, 0.437 ISO, 208 wRC+

Manny Machado - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.36 wOBA, 0.258 ISO, 123 wRC+

Josh Donaldson - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.386 wOBA, 0.257 ISO, 142 wRC+

Alex Bregman - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.41 wOBA, 0.241 ISO, 162 wRC+

Outfield

Giancarlo Stanton - Miami Marlins - $5,100 - Simply put, fade him at your own risk! He uncorked two more home runs and racked up five RBI's in last night's game and now owns a video game-like 1.226 OPS with 21 home runs since the All-Star break. Padres pitcher Dinelson Lamet has flashed tremendous talent at times in his rookie season, but owns an ugly 5.72 ERA away from Petco Park and also he relies heavily on his 95 MPH fastball, which bodes well for Stanton as rates as one of the top fastball hitters in MLB this season (28.8 wFB). With Stanton owning a .413 wOBA and .350 ISO against right-handed pitching this season, he's well primed for another monster performance.

2017 vs. RHP: 0.413 wOBA, 0.35 ISO, 156 wRC+

Matt Kemp - Atlanta Braves - $2,800 - His numbers may not reflect it this season, but Matt Kemp has a long history of destruction against left-handed pitching. The Braves cleanup hitter has posted a .390 wOBA against southpaws during his lengthy career and is fresh off a monster performance in last night's game. He's far too talented of a hitter to be priced this low especially considering how Kyle Freeland has been tagged for a .331 wOBA by right-handed batters this season. At this price, he's a mortal lock to be in all my cash game lineups.

2017 vs. LHP: 0.279 wOBA, 0.096 ISO, 67 wRC+

Others:

Mike Trout - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.468 wOBA, 0.374 ISO, 204 wRC+

George Springer - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.426 wOBA, 0.286 ISO, 173 wRC+

Mookie Betts - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.327 wOBA, 0.183 ISO, 98 wRC+

Khris Davis - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.288 wOBA, 0.174 ISO, 80 wRC+

Adam Jones - 2017 vs. LHP: 0.317 wOBA, 0.172 ISO, 93 wRC+

Corey Dickerson - 2017 vs. RHP: 0.347 wOBA, 0.231 ISO, 119 wRC+
