Filip Forsberg (NSH) - W - $8,400 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings)
Forsberg checks in as very good premium option for Friday night’s slate. He leads the league with five power-play goals and found the back of the net with the man advantage in Nashville’s last meeting with Chicago. Forsberg has secured seven of his 12 points when the Predators have been up at least one man this season.
Derick Brassard (OTT) - C - $5,300 (FanDuel), $5,400 (DraftKings)
Brassard has had a hot start to the season with 10 points, including six goals, in 10 games. He is skating alongside Mark Stone on the top line and could bring some good value to the table on Friday night against New Jersey backup goalie Keith Kinkaid.
Jaden Schwartz (STL) - W - $6,100 (FanDuel), $6,200 (DraftKings)
Schwartz has amassed 14 points in 10 games to rank third in the NHL in scoring, but he isn’t being priced like a top-end talent yet. He has only missed hitting the scoresheet in one match and has a five-game point streak going into Friday night. Schwartz and the Blues will be waiting for the Hurricanes, who played Thursday night at Toronto.
Alex Pietrangelo (STL) - D - $6,300 (FanDuel), $6,800 (DraftKings)
Pietrangelo has been a steady source of points (12), shots (38) and blocks (16) this campaign through 10 contests. He has generated two goals and two assists during a three-game point streak heading into Friday night’s tilt. Pietrangelo has racked up 10 points in 12 career matches versus Carolina.
Zach Werenski (CBJ) - D - $5,600 (FanDuel), $5,400 (DraftKings)
Werenski is among the league leaders in goals among defensemen this season with three in nine outings. Just two defenders have four and Pietrangelo is the only one who is playing Friday night. Werenski also has one goal and one assist on the power play and the Blue Jackets should be able to take advantage of Winnipeg’s 26th-ranked penalty kill. He also has three points (one goal, two assists) in two career matches versus the Jets, including one marker this year.
Mike Condon (OTT) - G - $7,700 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings)
Condon could be a solid value play in the crease if he gets the nod on Friday night. Craig Anderson started Thursday night against Philadelphia and posted a 5-4 victory. Condon has a 1-0-1 record with a 1.44 goals-against average and .962 save percentage in his previous two starts this year. New Jersey is not the same team this season that struggled to score in 2016-17, but the Senators netminder turned aside 50 of 51 Devils shots in two appearances last year during a pair of wins.
