Patrik Laine (WPG) - W - $7,600 (FanDuel), $6,500 (DraftKings)
Laine has registered one goal and one assist in each of the past three games. He has produced two goals and four points on the power play during that time. Laine also has six goals and seven points in seven career contests against St. Louis, including two markers on 11 shots in three meetings this season. Kyle Connor is back on Winnipeg’s top line and makes for a very good under-the-radar selection if you don’t want to spend up on the pricier options.
William Karlsson (VGK) - C - $7,200 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings)
Karlsson has four goals and four assists in the last nine games. He has multi-point upside Friday night when the Golden Knights host Vancouver. Karlsson picked up a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over the Canucks back on Nov. 16.
Eric Staal (MIN) - C - $7,000 (FanDuel), $6,600 (DraftKings)
Staal has only be held off the scoresheet three times in his past 15 outings. He has generated eight goals and nine helpers during that span. Staal had a goal against Rangers in that stretch and he has posted four points (two goals, two assists) in three matches versus New York since becoming a member of the Wild.
Zach Aston-Reese (PIT) - W - $4,500 (FanDuel), $4,100 (DraftKings)
Aston-Reese has plenty of bang for the buck potential. He has been skating alongside Sidney Crosby and he has scored four goals in four games. Aston-Reese has lit the lamp in each of the last two matches. The 23-year-old has been getting more ice time lately and his fantasy value is increasing the more he plays at the NHL level.
Marc-Edouard Vlasic (SJS) - D - $4,600 (FanDuel), $4,600 (DraftKings)
Vlasics five-game point streak came to an end Thursday night. He contributed six assists during that span, while registering nine shots and eight blocks. That helped Vlasic surpass his fantasy points per game average in each appearance. He could provide great value to your lineup.
Nate Schmidt (VGK) - D - $4,300 (FanDuel), $4,300 (DraftKings)
Schmidt is another low-cost defender with some offensive upside. He has compiled two goals and seven assist for nine points in 11 contests this month. Schmidt also had an assist against Vancouver earlier this season.
