NHL Plays will look at some players to consider adding while building your lineups. Remember to check back on this page later in the day for confirmations on starting goalies and keep an eye on Rotoworld’s daily blurbs for all your fantasy hockey needs.

Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UT).

Carolina, Dallas, Los Angeles and the New York Rangers will be playing the first games of their respective back-to-back situations, while Buffalo, New Jersey, Toronto and San Jose will skate for the second time in two nights.

Editor's Note: Rotoworld’s Season Pass is now available for the low price of $19.99. You get plenty of extra articles including the minor league report, the junior report and much, much more. Buy it now!

Logan Couture (SJS) - C - $6,900 (FanDuel), $6,400 (DraftKings)

Couture has two goals and two assists in the last four games, including one goal and two helpers on the power play. The Sharks have been red hot with the man advantage and Vancouver ranks 22nd overall on the penalty kill. Couture also has 16 goals and 29 points in 32 career appearances versus Vancouver, which includes two markers in a 5-0 victory for San Jose back on Nov. 11. He could be a solid stack with linemate Tomas Hertl, who has played well in his career versus the Canucks as well (15 points in 20 matches).

Jeff Skinner (CAR) - W - $6,200 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings)

Skinner has tallied four goals and eight assists in the past 16 games. He had three goals and one helper in three meetings against Buffalo last year and piled up five shots versus the Sabres on Nov. 18 in a 3-1 win for the Hurricanes this campaign.

Evander Kane (BUF) - W - $7,100 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings)

Kane has been a consistent producer for the Sabres this season despite the team’s struggles offensively. He leads the team with 14 goals and 28 points. Kane's five-game point streak ended Thursday night, but he could get back on the scoresheet quickly. He has had plenty of success against Carolina in his career with 10 markers and 22 points in 26 contests.

William Nylander (TOR) - W - $5,400 (FanDuel), $4,800 (DraftKings)

Nylander has had some trouble scoring goals this year and he has one assist in the past six games, but a trip to Detroit could be just what he needs to get back on track. He registered a goal and a helper versus the Red Wings on Oct. 18 and he has seven points (three goals, four assists) in seven career outings against Detroit.

Tyler Pitlick (DAL) - W - $3,100 (FanDuel), $3,400 (DraftKings)

Pitlick has three goals in the last three games and he has been skating on the same line as Jamie Benn. He had a pair of goals against the Islanders on Wednesday night. Pitlick has some great bang for the buck potential if he can continue his recent success on Friday night. If he’s sill with Benn at the morning skate then he could be worth using, especially if you are looking for a player to save some cap space.

Brent Burns (SJS) - D - $7,100 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings)

Burns has bounced back from his early-season struggles and has six points in his last four outings.  He generated three straight two-point performances going into Thursday night's action, but he didn't get on the scoresheet versus Calagry.  Burns had three goals and three assists during that span and five points have come on the power play. He has amassed 11 points in the last 11 contests.

Probable Goaltenders:

Carolina (Scott Darling) @ Buffalo (Chad Johnson) Confirmed

Dallas (Kari Lehtonen) Confirmed @ New Jersey (Keith Kinkaid)

Los Angeles (Jonathan Quick) @ NY Rangers (Henrik Lundqvist) Confirmed

Toronto (Curtis McElhinney) @ Detroit (Jimmy Howard) Confirmed

San Jose (Martin Jones) Confirmed @ Vancouver (Jacob Markstrom)
